TX’s NFL Week 9 Daily Fantasy Plays – (Afternoon Only)

TX's FanDuel NFL Daily Fantasy Plays

TX’s NFL DFS Afternoon Slate Plays – Week 9

What’s up, 4 DEEP?! My article will cover the three afternoon games on FanDuel. I think the path to go is pay down at RB and then decide on one of the stud receivers. Ask me any lineup questions in Discord before lock (@TX). Let’s get into it!!

UPDATES:

Favorite Stacks:

  • Eagles
  • Cowboys
  • Panthers

TX’s Elite QBs:

  • Jalen Hurts At home and we know what we are going to get from him. The Cowboy defense allows 26% more fantasy points on the road.

TX’s Mid Tier QB:

  • Dak Prescott $900 price increase on FanDuel after his last two starts. Not a fan of picking on the Eagles at home, but their pass defense is one of the worst in the league. They rank 29th in touchdowns allowed at 2.1 and 26th in passing yards allowed at 257 per game over their last nine games.
  • Bryce Young Value play here against the Colts. The Colts allow 33% more fantasy points to QBs on the road.

TX’s Door #3 QB:

  • Gardner Minshew Price play here in a match-up we should see at least 20 passing attempts.

TX’s Elite RBs:

  • Saquon Barkley Top back on the slate facing one of the worst, if not the worst, rush defense in the league.

TX’s Mid Tier RBs:

  • Jonathan Taylor I hate that we have to worry about Moss, but the Panthers’ rush defense is too bad to ignore him on a small slate.
  • D’Andre Swift There’s only so many fantasy points to go around in this Eagle offense, but Swift brings a decent floor.
  • Josh Jacobs New head coach this week. Bad rushing defense on the other side of the ball.

TX’s Door #3 RBs:

  • Tony Pollard Huge price drop on FanDuel and we will need it to make lineups work.

TX’s Elite WRs:

  • AJ Brown/CeeDee Lamb This is the decision we have to make on this slate. Brown has been far more consistent all year, but it seems like the Cowboys finally figured out how to use Lamb. I believe with Lamb we don’t have to worry about one of the other players eating into his targets. While Brown has a lot of weapons playing with him. Ultimately, you’re pairing the one with the QB you decide to play.

TX’s Mid Tier WRs:

  • DeVonta Smith/Brandin Cooks Either one of the receivers are your bring backs on the other side. If you decide to go Brown, bring it back with Cooks, and vice versa.
  • Adam Thielen Just been a target monster with Young behind Center.
  • Michael Pittman/Josh Downs If you can afford Pittman, lock him in, if you need the savings, then go Downs.
  • Davante Adams/Jakobi Meyers I’d like them more if it weren’t O’Connell starting.

TX’s Door #3 WRs:

  • Jonathan Mingo Value play with TD upside.

TX’s Elite TEs:

  • Jake Ferguson Eagles allow 62% more fantasy points to tight ends at home.
  • Dallas Goedert Lots of mouths to feed on the Philly side of the ball, but he’s a way to get different and have exposure to their offense.

TX’s Mid Tier TEs:

  • Michael Mayer – Safety value for a rookie QB.

TX’s Door #3 TEs:

  • Daniel Bellinger Waller’s out and he’s cheap.

Defenses:

  • Giants
  • Eagles
  • Cowboys
