Scarface's DraftKings NFL Daily Fantasy Plays

Scarface’s 2023 NFL Week 9 Intro:

Welcome, 4Deeps, to my weekly NFL GPP article. Time to pick up right where we left off last year, coming off my best NFL season and helping you guys win also. I want to welcome the new subs and let you know that it won’t be pretty every week, but the weeks that are, we will go straight to the top.

In this article, I will list my favorite plays at each position with a mini breakdown, followed by some game stack ideas we can use in GPPs, and my Core 4 building blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel. In keeping with the Scarface theme, I will conclude with my “Say Hello to My Little Friend” (Slate Edge Play), “Every Dog Has His Day” (Favorite Value Play), and “Say Goodnight to the Bad Guy” (Chalk Fade).

Also don’t forget to check out the Mayhem Minute section on Game Day for a more narrowed breakdown of my favorite plays at each position.

UPDATES: PLEASE CHECK BACK SUNDAY MORNING FOR UPDATES.

I will be available in Discord (@Scarface521) Sunday Mornings for any questions you have about your lineups. 💪🏻

QB:

  • Lamar Jackson – Lamar’s numbers at home this year are MVP-level. Seattle is going to get the same treatment Detroit got a few weeks ago. With most of the stud QBs off of the slate, Lamar is the no-brainer spend up.
  • Jalen Hurts – He has the safest floor of any QB in the league. I don’t think he has the upside of Lamar, but you can lock him in for at least 23 fantasy points.
  • Dak Prescott – More of a DK only play, being that he is only $400 cheaper than Lamar on FD and $1700 cheaper on DK. He has a history of putting up big numbers against Philly and we just saw Sam Howell carve this Philly team up last week.
  • Derek Carr – I’ve discovered the trend with Carr. I used it last week and I’ll continue using it going forward. Domes and bad defenses. He’s thrown for 1000 yards the last three weeks in these scenarios. This offense is now fully healthy and they have beaten up on bad defenses in Dome games.
  • Mac Jones – We talked in detail about this on the Roundtable. Mac isn’t lighting this slate on fire on his own, but at his cheap price and paired with his cheap receivers against the worst pass defense in the league, he will unlock the whole slate for you. Go build a lineup with Mac/Demario Douglas/Hunter Henry and see what I’m talking about. I will 💯 be using a Big Mac Stack!

RB:

  • Alvin Kamara – The biggest reason for the Saints’ offensive success the last few weeks. Continues to put up big fantasy numbers.
  • Saquon Barkley – Getting a massive workload and just needs to get into the end zone to have a monster fantasy day.
  • Jonathan Taylor – The snaps are tilting towards his way and Carolina is the absolute nut matchup for any RB.
  • Josh Jacobs – If he doesn’t get there on the ground, he will get there with checkdowns.
  • Bijan Robinson – Changes in Atlanta and hopefully they’ve figured out they need to feed Bijan.
  • Jerome Ford / Kareem Hunt – One of these guys is eating. I would lean Ford if he is a full go.
  • Devin Singletary – Pierce is out and Singletary becomes the workhorse. Chalk that is tough to fade.

WR:

  • AJ Brown – Tough to fade what Brown is doing right now.
  • Cooper Kupp – One of my favorite low owned plays on the slate, especially if Puka plays.
  • CeeDee Lamb – They finally figured out Lamb is their best playmaker.
  • Mike Evans – I think Evans gets all the targets and the TDs this game.
  • Terry McLaurin / Jahan Dotson – Pats haven’t been able to stop any receivers with the injuries to their secondary.
  • Nico Collins – Stroud gets back on track this week with Collins.
  • Rashid Shaheed – Our Dog Core play last week. Same situation this week, fire him up again.
  • Demario Douglas – With Bourne out and me loving Mac, he will be in my lineups.
  • Jonathan Mingo – I like Thielen, but his price is a tad high, so I’ll take the savings with Mingo.

TE:

  • Mark Andrews – The only Raven receiver I will pair with Lamar.
  • TJ Hockenson – Rookie QBs target their TE the most and Hock should see most of the targets in this game.
  • Kyle Pitts – London is out and you’re left with scraps at WR. Pitts should be the beneficiary of this situation.
  • Hunter Henry – I’m jamming him into my Big Mac Happy Meal.
  • Dalton Schultz – Woods is out again and he will see an increase in target share.

DEF:

Defense is always a crapshoot. My strategy most weeks is to build out my lineups first and see which defenses I land on. These are some that I will be using:

  • Cleveland
  • New England
  • New Orleans
  • Baltimore
  • New York Giants

Game Stack Ideas For GPPs:

  • Patriots vs. Commanders – Mac Jones / Douglas / Henry, run it back with McLaurin or Dotson.
  • Saints – Carr / Kamara / Shaheed or Olave
  • Cowboys at Eagles – Dak / CeeDee / Cooks or Gallup.  Run it back with AJ Brown or Devonta Smith.
  • Texans vs. Bucs – Stroud / Nico or Dell / Schultz. Run it back with Evans.

Core 4 on FanDuel:

  • Mac Jones/ Hunter Henry/ Cooper Kupp/ Saquon Barkley

Core 4 on DraftKings:

  • Mac Jones/ Demario Douglas/Devin Singletary/ Cooper Kupp

Say Hello To My Little Friend: Cooper Kupp

Every Dog Has His Day: Mac Jones

Say Goodnight To The Bad Guy: Tony Pollard
