What’s up, 4DEEP?! We have three playoff games on FanDuel and DraftKings today. For as many pitching options as we have today, I’m finding myself living in this mid-tier range. Let’s get into it!
Elite Pitching:
- Joe Ryan – (MIN vs. HOU) – FD: $9.9k / DK: $8.1k – Pitching at home against the Astros at Target Field, which is graded out as #9 for a pitcher’s park. Ryan scored 37% more fantasy points at home. The Astros have a .240 batting average against Ryan in 45 at bats. Ryan has scored 33.5 FPPG over his last six games when he’s at home. Only concern here is the Astros are heating up.
Mid-Tier Pitching:
- Lance Lynn – (LAD @ ARI) – FD: $9.1k/ DK: $8.5k – He’s favored today on the road in Arizona. We know what we are going to get out of Lynn, pretty much. I don’t like the price, but he’s going to give us 30-34 fantasy points tonight.
- Jose Urquidy – (HOU @ MIN) – FD: $7.2k / DK: $6.7k – Taking the mound at Target Field against Ryan tonight. He’s the cheapest pitcher on the board tonight. Urquidy scores 50.7% more fantasy points when he’s on the road. The Twins have a 28% K-rate to righties.
Door #3 Pitcher:
- Bryce Elder – (ATL @ PHI) – FD: $8k / DK: $6.8k – The long reliever in this game going against the Phillies. I think at his price point, he is in play.
