What’s up, 4Deep!? Had a decent night yesterday spending down at pitcher with another chalky stud letting everyone down once again. Unfortunately, my man crush is on the mound today in a phenomenal matchup against the Tigers and I will be locking him into all my lineups and trying to get different with my bats. It’s a good day to have a good day! LFG!!
PITCHERS
- Zac Gallen DK $10,700 – Gallen, another stud in a good matchup, gets the K-happy Twins, who blew their load last night. The Twins have struck out 60 more times to RHP on the season than the second closest (Mariners). Going to try my best to get a lineup with both Gallen and Glasnow in there if we can find the value for it.
- Taijuan Walker DK $7,500 – After Glasnow/Gallen, things get a little dicey, but pitchers are 100% always in play against this Royals’ lineup. Them getting Garcia back and Bobby being hot does make it slightly less appealing, but Walker knows how to miss bats and is almost certainly in line to get the W here. Fine using his as an SP2 on DK.
- Matt Manning DK $7,100 – Like I said, it’s not pretty outside of the studs, but the Rays have struck out more than teams like Det, Oak, and right below Sea in this split. So, I know it feels scary, but Manning could be in for a big day and he’s shown us GPP-winning upside in the past. Good weather for pitchers in this one, also.
- John King DK $4,000 – Anytime we get a pitcher at $4K on DK, he’s in play. King has not been good, but neither have the Rockies, and literally all we need is 10-15 from him. The Rockies are the worst team in the league in this split and we’ve seen crazier things happen this season. He could legit be in the optimal with some of the big bats he allows you to get, and there’s plenty to spend up on on this slate.
STACKS
- Phillies – Great hitting weather and there will be dongs in this game. Grienke is flat out terrible and one of the things the Phillies struggle with is making contact at times, which is something we don’t have to worry about here. 1-6 all in play and I have a feeling Turner is about to “turn” things on after last night.
- Reds – The Reds really need to win this game and have just about perfect hitting weather for GAB. Lefties hit him for power, making De La Cruz, Votto, Friedl, and Benson the top options.
- Cardinals – This lineup just keeps getting cake matchups and today is no different. Similar to last night. 1-9 is honestly all in play with Goldy, Arenado, O’Neill, Edman, and Gorman being my favorites. .
- Rangers – Sandy has actually looked decent his last few starts, but that all changes here. Seager and Garcia are white hot, while Semien, Lowe, and Garver are also firmly in play. I also like Burger, Garcia, and Soler on the other side.
- O’s – Going right back to the well here and this lineup provides plenty of value to spend up on both pitcher spots as well. Mountcastle is the core of this stack to go along with Rutschman, Gunnar, Santander, and Mateo, who provides good value.
