TX’s 8/3/23 MLB Early Slate Breakdown

What’s up, 4 DEEP?! My article will cover the early set of games. Let’s get into it!

TX’s Elite Pitching:

• Max Scherzer – Home favorite going against the White Sox today. The White Sox have a 26% K-rate and .295 wOBA to righties. Scherzer has scored 50 FPPG when he’s heavily favored and 38 FPPG over his last 12 games.

TX’s Mid-Tier Pitching:

• Brady Singer – Tough match-up against the Mets, but our pitching options are limited today. He’s struck out 19 in his last two games and has found a bit of a groove. He’s scored 37 FPPG over his last three games.

TX’s Door #3 Pitcher:

• Kevin Gausman – He’s the highest-priced pitcher on the board, going against the O’s today. I think we are taking on a lot of risk starting him today against them, but like Scherzer, he has enormous upside and a combined K-rate of 31%.
