TX’s NFL Week 6 Daily Fantasy Plays – (Afternoon Only)

TX's FanDuel NFL Daily Fantasy Plays

TX’s NFL DFS Afternoon Slate Plays – Week 6

What’s up, 4 DEEP?! My article will cover the four afternoon games on FanDuel. Ask me any lineup questions in Discord before lock (@TX). Let’s get into it!!

UPDATES: Sat 5 PM –  Evans appears to be a full go. Looks like LaPorta will play after all, reports earlier in the week said he was downgraded but as of Saturday afternoon he says he will play. I think he’s a top play at the position if you can get there.

Favorite Stacks:

  • Eagles
  • Lions
  • Rams

TX’s Elite QBs:

  • Jalen Hurts I have no issue really paying up for him because it’s Hurts, and he has an enormous ceiling, but I don’t think this is the match-up to force him in. The Jets are a top 10 defense against the pass and I don’t think we have the game script that pays off his price.

TX’s Mid Tier QB:

  • Jared Goff I really like this play here against the 27th or worst ranked passing defense. The Lions have proved they know what they are doing, and Goff can get it done. The Bucs allow 60% more fantasy points at home and 25% more fantasy points against non-division opponents.
  • Matthew Stafford We know what we are going to get with him. I like that he’s a home and I think when the Cardinals aren’t at home, they struggle.
  • Baker Mayfield Should be a back-and-forth game and he’s at home. He’s shown he can get the ball in the endzone. The one concern is Mike Evans being questionable.
  • Jimmy Garoppolo I think the upside is limited, but it’s a revenge game, and he has the tools to produce a big game. He’s at home vs. the 27th ranked pass defense allowing 35 pass attempts a game.

TX’s Door #3 QB:

  • Zach Wilson We have seen a few flashes of him being a decent QB. He’s at home against an Eagle defense who is 30th in passing TDs and 28th in passing yards. I think he’s a good GPP play, but I wouldn’t go all in by any means.

TX’s Elite RBs:

  • David Montgomery I like the offense he’s in and what he’s been able to do. He’s actually cheaper than last week, but the match-up is tougher. I like his floor/ceiling combo, so I have him ranked higher.
  • Kyren Williams Holy price increase on Williams! The match-up is solid here at home against the 31st ranked rush defense. I ranked Montgomery higher because of the carries he gets compared to Williams.

TX’s Mid Tier RBs:

  • Josh Jacobs Not a lot of faith in this offense here, but the Patriots have looked horrible. Jacobs’ opportunities have increased and his price has decreased. He was in back to back perfect lineups on the late slate with 24 and 17 fantasy points.
  • D’Andre Swift I like the price here, but the tush push vultures a lot of opportunities.
  • Breece Hall Not much of a floor, but has huge upside. The Eagles’ run defense is tough, but it only takes one play for Hall to take one to the house. I think his price puts him in play.

TX’s Door #3 RBs:

  • Emari Demercado / Keaontay Ingram With Conner out, one of these two backs is going to see some opportunities. Ingram is listed as #1 on the depth chart, but Demarcado got the carries last week.

TX’s Elite WRs:

  • Cooper Kupp He came back with 12 targets and is under priced for the ceiling he has.
  • AJ Brown / DeVonta Smith Leaning Smith on this one, but it’s really whoever ends up opposite of Sauce. Smith with the discount is where I’m thinking.
  • Mike Evans / Chris Godwin Evans is questionable. If he is out, Godwin is a lock. If he is in, then I like Evans here and the connection he has with Baker.
  • Amon-Ra St. Brown He hasn’t had that ceiling game yet, but the Bucs are 26th in yards allowed and 27th in touchdowns allowed to wide receivers. LaPorta appears to be out, so I think he gets a few more targets.

TX’s Mid Tier WRs:

  • Garrett Wilson He’s in a match-up that should give him plenty of opportunities.
  • Marquise Brown Steady floor, but is banged up. We need to watch the news on him.

TX’s Door #3 WRs:

  • Jakobi Meyers Nice value in a revenge game and has found a grove with Jimmy G.
  • Allen Lazard Nice value in a game that should have plenty of points scored.

TX’s Elite TEs:

  • Dallas Goedert Finally found a groove and looked great. The Jets are ranked last against tight ends.

TX’s Mid Tier TEs:

  • Zach Ertz The targets are there and finally found the end zone.

TX’s Door #3 TEs:

  • Brock Wright If LaPorta is out, Wright becomes a nice value and will be chalk.

Defenses:

  • Eagles – Facing Zach Wilson.
  • Lions – Baker can turn the ball over.
  • Raiders – The Patriots’ offense has looked horrible.
