Scarface’s 2023 NFL Week 4 Daily Fantasy Plays

Scarface's DraftKings NFL Daily Fantasy Plays

Scarface’s 2023 NFL Week 4 Intro:

Welcome, 4Deeps, to my weekly NFL GPP article. Time to pick up right where we left off last year, coming off my best NFL season and helping you guys win also. I want to welcome the new subs and let you know that it won’t be pretty every week, but the weeks that are, we will go straight to the top.

In this article, I will list my favorite plays at each position with a mini breakdown, followed by some game stack ideas we can use in GPPs, and my Core 4 building blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel. In keeping with the Scarface theme, I will conclude with my “Say Hello to My Little Friend” (Slate Edge Play), “Every Dog Has His Day” (Favorite Value Play), and “Say Goodnight to the Bad Guy” (Chalk Fade).

Also don’t forget to check out the Mayhem Minute section on Game Day for a more narrowed breakdown of my favorite plays at each position.

UPDATES: PLEASE CHECK BACK SUNDAY MORNING FOR UPDATES.

Thoughts on the Slate:

This slate is loaded with Stud WRs and the pricing on them is different on FD and DK, which means their ownership will be different on each site. Justin Jefferson, Keenan Allen, Davante Adams, and Ja’Marr Chase are all in good spots and project to score very well, so there is no need for me to write them all up below. Davante Adams projects as the highest owned on FD and second highest owned on DK. Keenan Allen is coming in as the highest owned on DK at 30%, but his FD price is keeping his ownership closer to 10%. Justin Jefferson is cheaper than Keenan on FD, but the highest priced on DK. Ja’Marr Chase projects to be higher owned on FD than DK.  The deciding factor on all these guys for me is just going to come down to ownership and price on each site, especially in larger field tournaments.

I will be available in Discord (@Scarface521) Sunday Mornings for any questions you have about your lineups. ??

QB:

  • Josh Allen – Put up big numbers against Miami last year and this is the highest total on the slate. I also think he comes in underowned.
  • Justin Herbert – He’s averaging over 40 Pass Attempts a game thanks to Ekeler being out and how poor their defense is playing. Massive upside in this game.
  • Justin Fields – This price is just too hard to ignore. If he were priced up, I would easily just cross him off my list, but against this defense, he is chalk that we have to eat.
  • Russell Wilson (DK Only) – Despite how bad Denver has looked, Russ has put up some decent fantasy numbers. Good price on DK against a horrible defense.
  • Brock Purdy – You can make a case for Purdy every week in tournaments. He’s always priced low and has weapons at every position you can pair him with.
  • Jameis Winston – Milly Maker Revenge Special. If Carr sits, I like Winston to come in and just sling it against his old team.

RB:

  • Christian McCaffrey – Easily the best spend up at RB and an elite spot for him. Becomes an even better play if Mitchell misses.
  • Josh Jacobs – His breakout game is coming soon and this could be the matchup for it. Give him a bump also if Jimmy G is ruled out.
  • D’Andre Swift – This Philly O line is creating some gaping holes for Swift to run through. His only downside is Hurts getting the goal line looks, but otherwise, he is too cheap on DK and is a great low owned play on FD.
  • Kyren Williams – He is seeing 100% of RB snaps. No one else has that kind of usage.
  • Zack Moss – Already a big workload and could see more if the Colts limit Richardson’s rushing attempts to prevent further injuries.
  • Javonte Williams – Like all the plays in this game, he is too cheap for this matchup.
  • Ezekiel Elliott – Revenge Special. Zeke is getting all the goal line looks in this game. He saw 16 rush attempts last week and if he sees anything close to that, along with one or two vultured revenge TDs, he could win you a tournament at his price.

WR:

  • Stefon Diggs – I’ll be using him in my Josh Allen lineups.
  • CeeDee Lamb – I mentioned on the Roundtable that I think this game plays a little higher scoring than the total suggests. Cee Dee screwed me last week, right back to him this week.
  • Jaylen Waddle – The reason I didn’t mention Tyreek above is because it’s Waddle Week. In both games against Buffalo last year, Waddle had the better fantasy production and he’s $2k cheaper than ‘Reek.
  • Jerry Jeudy – Targets increasing every week and also getting healthier. He is Russ’s favorite target.
  • TuTu Atwell – I’ll take the price and ownership discount over Puka.
  • Josh Palmer – Better play on DK at only $4k.
  • Kendrick Bourne – Sneaky Tournament play. As I mentioned, I think this game is higher scoring than people think.
  • Calvin Austin – One of my favorite plays on the slate. I think he is underpriced and makes a lot of lineups sexy.

TE:

  • George Kittle – A great play if Deebo plays. A borderline lock play if he misses. Kittle ate in both matchups last year against Arizona.
  • Pat Freiermuth – A chalky option on another shitty TE slate.
  • Cole Kmet – Fields’ best games last year were when he connected with Kmet.
  • Chig Okonkwu – Chig is always my go-to on bad TE slates. He is cheap and has big play upside.

DEF:

Defense is always a crapshoot. My strategy most weeks is to build out my lineups first and see which defenses I land on. These are some that I will be using:

  • Philly
  • 49ers
  • Pittsburgh
  • New Orleans
  • Cleveland
  • Chicago

Game Stack Ideas For GPPs:

  • Bills vs. Dolphins – Josh Allen / Diggs run it back with Waddle
  • Chargers vs. Raiders – Herbert / Keenan / Palmer, run it back with Adams or Meyers
  • Bears vs. Broncos – Fields / Kmet run it back with Jeudy or Javonte
  • Milly Maker Stack: Saints – Winston / Olave / Shaheed or Michael Thomas

Core 4 on FanDuel:

  • Fields / Javonte Williams / Kyren Williams / Calvin Austin

Core 4 on DraftKings:

  • Swift / Keenan / Javonte Williams / Calvin Austin

Say Hello To My Little Friend: D’Andre Swift

Every Dog Has His Day: Calvin Austin

Say Goodnight To The Bad Guy: Tyreek Hill
