Zab's EPL Daily Fantasy Plays
⚽ EPL Slate – 12/6/23

We have a solid four-game slate with Liverpool being massive favorites. We will be rolling Salah out in our main lineups. He didn’t score for us over the weekend, but did have an assist and a couple shots. I’ll be looking for him to bounce back and have a goal in this mid-week matchup. Crystal Palace is at home, where they always play at a higher level. Brentford is on the road against an injured Brighton side, can they take advantage?

Main Targets:

  • Salah (liv) – Main goal scorer for Liverpool didn’t score over the weekend. I expect him to get one during his mid-week match vs. a poor SHU squad.
  • Nunez (liv) – Always a threat to score. Should have had a couple over the weekend.
  • Diaz (liv) – Getting as many pieces of this attack as I can.
  • Mac-Allister (liv) – Scored a goal over the weekend. Always has upside for a goal or assist.
  • E. Ferguson (bha) – Always a threat for a goal. More of a gpp target for me this week.
  • Adingra (bha) – I like him to record a goal or assist in this matchup. Typically plays better at home. Has scored the first goal for Brighton in their last two home matches.
  • Mbeumo (bre) – I always like this guy to score. We didn’t get a goal from him over the weekend, but he did have five shots and an assist. Helped us to a profitable day. I’ll be looking to go back to him.
  • Maupay (bre) – Had him in my betting section to record a point and he came through for us and had a goal. He and Mbeumo have been working great together and I’ll look to stack these guys in gpps.
  • Wissa (bre) – Good pairing with the main two pieces of bre, but lower a gpp target.
  • Jensen (bre) Good set up guy. Like him as a stand alone play.
  • Pereira (ful) – Sends in crosses. Good floor play.
  • Wilson (ful) – Scored over the weekend after returning to the lineup. Solid piece that has upside.
  • Palhinha (ful) – Gpp target that occasionally pops up with a goal in these types of matchups.
  • Gibbs-White (NF) – Does it all for NF. Sets/crosses/sog/sa. I’ll be looking to get him in my cash builds.
  • Chris wood (Nf) – Cheap forward option that is always a threat for a goal in these types of games.
  • Olise (CP) – Olise has been solid for CP since returning from injury. He will have the monopoly of sets. He will be someone I look to get into my cash builds.
  • Edouard (CP) – Gpp target that has goal upside.
  • Ayew (CP) – Attacks off the end and always a threat, especially against Bou, who he has scored or had an assist against in three straight matches.
  • Solanke (bou) – Cheap guy that we are in on week in and week out for goals. We thought it was a joke they dropped his price over the weekend. Liked his upside for a goal and he came through for us.
  • Tavernier (bou) – Has been firing shots as of late. Gpp option.

Defense:

  • Trent Alexander Arnold (liv) – Hes a top attacking defensemen, had one goal and should have had a second, but they made it an OG. He’s a threat and a cash lock.
  • Van-Dijk (liv) – Cheaper option that is always a threat for a goal off a corner kick. Clean sheet upside.
  • Tsmikas (liv) – Moves up into the attack and fires shots and sets up goals. Cheaper than TAA but still expensive.

More defensive options will become available after lineups are released.

Scoring Notes:

  • If you are playing on FanDuel, you’re searching for the goals. Goals count for 15 points, and shots are worth one point. Shots on goal are worth five, while assists are seven.
  • For defenders, I like looking at cheap center mids who will be on the defensive. I target these players because they will rack up tackles and clearances. Occasionally will pop up with a cheap goal, also.
  • If you are playing on DraftKings, goals are worth 10 points, shots are one, and shots on goal are one. Assists are worth six points.
  • Playing on DK you want to look for set piece-takers and players that will be crossing the ball. Defenders won’t get as many points for tackles and clearances, so I’m targeting defenders who play on the outside who will move up and cross the ball in.
