TX’s NFL DFS Plays – Wild Card Saturday
What’s up, 4 DEEP?! My article will cover the two-game Wild Card Saturday slate. The weather is going to be really bad in KC, so that will impact the passing attack of both teams. Ask me any lineup questions in Discord before lock (@TX). Let’s get into it!!
UPDATES:
Favorite Stacks:
- Browns
- Texans
- Chiefs
- Dolphins
TX’s QB Rankings:
- Joe Flacco – He’s shown consistency over his starts and has the weapons to do it. It’s really a close decision between him and Stroud, but Flacco has the experience and better floor.
- CJ Stroud – He’s back and missed the first game against the Browns. The kid is special, and I think has a higher ceiling than Flacco, but comes with more risk. He does play better at home and scores 45% more fantasy points there.
- Patrick Mahomes – He has the arm strength to help combat the elements and the Dolphins struggle on the road.
- Tua Tagovailoa – With all the weapons he has, he can pop off any game, but I think this one’s more a rushing game. He has the slowest ownership out of the QBs and the cheapest price tag.
TX’s RB Rankings:
- Raheem Mostert – With the weather in KC, I think Mostert is going to get a ton of opportunities. Achane is a decent pivot if you want to avoid some ownership.
- Isiah Pacheco – I love the way this dude runs. He’s a straight dawg and this environment should benefit him.
- Devin Singletary – The upside is limited, but he’s brought a solid floor. Pierce could be an interesting pivot at his price point and the ability he has in the return game (if he returns kicks). I’ll note Beck is questionable, but if he’s in, that makes me interested. If he’s out, then Pierce gets a slight bump. Beck has solid hands, and they like to sneak him into some plays.
- Jerome Ford – He’s the safe play with the floor against the Texans, but Hunt does have some ceiling upside with his price and touchdown upside.
TX’s WR Rankings:
- Tyreek Hill –It’s a revenge game and Waddle has been banged up. The weather is horrible for the passing game, but he does have the highest upside on the slate.
- Nico Collins – He’s proven to be the #1 in Houston and has backed it up. Stroud looks for him and he averages 103% more FP at domes at home.
- Amari Cooper – Crushed the Texans two weeks ago, but he’s coming off an injury and it’s really hard to do the same thing to a defense the second time. I think he’s still an elite play, but expecting a 45-fantasy point game isn’t reality. The Texan defense will get a few players back like Will Anderson, who will help the pass rush.
- Rashee Rice – He was out last week, but has found a solid role in this offense. I don’t trust the passing game in this weather, but he’s their #1.
- Noah Brown – Has filled in nicely for Tank Dell and this is an indoor game, and the opportunities should be there.
- Jaylen Waddle – Has upside, but the weather will impact his opportunities.
- Notable Mentions: Woods, Moore, Waston
TX’s TE Rankings:
- David Njoku – Been a beast since Flacco started taking snaps.
- Dalton Schultz – Found a role within this Texans offense. He has a good connection with Stroud.
- Travis Kelce – The weather is the only reason he isn’t ranked higher. If the Chiefs have a chance to win, it’s because Kelce is involved.
TX’s DEF Rankings:
- Chiefs
- Texans
- Browns
- Dolphins
