TX’s NFL Week 7 Daily Fantasy Plays – (Afternoon Only)

TX's FanDuel NFL Daily Fantasy Plays

TX’s NFL DFS Afternoon Slate Plays – Week 7

What’s up, 4 DEEP?! My article will cover the four afternoon games on FanDuel. Ask me any lineup questions in Discord before lock (@TX). Let’s get into it!!

UPDATES: 3:13 Metcalf out loving JSN now. Moving off Evans and onto Freeman.

Favorite Stacks:

  • Chargers
  • Chiefs
  • Seahawks

TX’s Elite QBs:

  • Justin Herbert The value way to go and get exposure to this game at the QB spot. He’s cheaper than Mahomes on FanDuel and has the same floor and ceiling combo. Unless you’re forcing Mahomes, I think we can save some money here and get the same value on the price.
  • Patrick Mahomes The Chargers rank 30th in passing yards allowed. Mahomes hasn’t had that monster game, yet I think the Chargers can keep it close enough for it to happen. If we can afford him, I don’t see why not playing him.

TX’s Mid Tier QB:

  • Geno Smith He’s cheap and just has too many weapons on the offensive side of the ball. He brings a solid floor and with the two WRs, he can have a monster game any week.
  • Matthew Stafford We know what we are going to get out of him and he has a favorable match-up against the Steelers at home. The Steelers allow 34% more fantasy to QBs on the road.

TX’s Door #3 QB:

  • Joshua Dobbs I mean no floor and huge ceiling at $6,600. He’s a good way to get different against a defense that ranks 23th in passing yards allowed.

TX’s Elite RBs:

  • Kenneth Walker At home vs. the Cardinals’ defense, who ranks 30th in rushing yards allowed and 26th in touchdowns allowed. He’s going to carry some ownership. I think we have to find a way to squeeze him in.
  • Austin Ekeler The numbers say play him, but the price tag is high. I think it’s hard to avoid him here, but if playing Mahomes, I think you have to bring it back with Ekeler.

TX’s Mid Tier RBs:

  • Aaron Jones If he’s healthy and starts, he’s facing a Bronco defense that’s 32nd in the league, allowing 1.3 touchdowns a game and 126 rushing yards a game.
  • Isiah Pacheco He’s seen consistent volume lately and is a home favorite against the Chargers.

TX’s Door #3 RBs:

  • Zach Evans Cheap running back starting for the Rams against the Steelers. At this price, he’s a free square and will carry a ton of ownership. I think we can take a chance here to help fit in some studs.

TX’s Elite WRs:

  • Cooper Kupp The only reason not to play him is because you don’t have the salary. The Steelers allow 59% more fantasy points to WR when they are on the road.
  • Keenan Allen Leaning Kupp, but if you’re not going Ekeler, then go Allen.

TX’s Mid Tier WRs:

  • Tyler Lockett/DK Metcalf Both in play. I lean Lockett at the slight discount.
  • Courtland Sutton Sees a ton of redzone targets.
  • Christian Watson/Romeo Doubs Both in play, but I lean Doubs at the price point.
  • Jerry Jeudy Cheap run back in this game hasn’t flashed any upside in a game, but we know he has it.

TX’s Door #3 WRs:

  • Rashee Rice This could be the breakout game we have been waiting for.
  • Michael Wilson Cheap with upside.
  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba Cheap with upside as well.

TX’s Elite TEs:

  • Travis Kelce Obviously the top TE on the board, but all the big games have come on the road.

TX’s Mid Tier TEs:

  • Gerald Everett Should hit value here easily.
  • Luke Musgrave Decent price point and someone to help fill out the lineup.

TX’s Door #3 TEs:

  • Connor Heyward – Worth a shot at this price point.

Defenses:

  • Seahawks
  • Rams
  • Packers
