TX’s NFL DFS Afternoon Slate Plays – Week 13
What’s up, 4 DEEP?! My article will cover the three afternoon games on FanDuel. Ask me any lineup questions in Discord before lock (@TX). Let’s get into it!!
UPDATES:
Favorite Stacks:
- Eagles
- 49ers
- Buccs
TX’s Elite QBs:
- Jalen Hurts – Tough match-up against the 49ers, but has proven he’s consistent. I think he comes in lower owned because of the price and match-up.
TX’s Mid Tier QB:
- Brock Purdy – The Eagle pass defense continues to rank towards the back of the pack. He’s priced right and has plenty of weapons to help him get there. I think he carries more ownership than Hurts.
TX’s Door #3 QB:
- Bryce Young – Hasn’t proven much, but he gets one of the worst defenses against the pass and is the cheapest QB on the slate.
TX’s Elite RBs:
- CMC – Continues to be the best running back in the league. Highest floor and ceiling combo on the slate, but the Eagles’ rush defense is stout, and a ceiling game would be tough.
TX’s Mid Tier RBs:
- Rachaad White – Wish he were slightly cheaper, but he’s found his role in this offense and I expect him to continue to perform.
- Kyren Williams – I hate to chase, and against the Browns especially, but he is at home and had 16 carries. The slate doesn’t have a lot of options, so I’m okay with it.
TX’s Door #3 RBs:
- Jerome Ford / Kareem Hunt – Our RB options are limited, so we will need to go to one of these backs. I lean Ford for the his floor, but Hunt has the ceiling.
TX’s Elite WRs:
- Mike Evans – Continues to put up points and find the endzone, and is in a softer match-up than the other priced-up receivers.
- AJ Brown / DeVonta Smith – I lean AJ in this match-up, but it’s a tough one against the 49ers. If you can afford AJ, go there, but Smith is fine at a cheaper price point.
- Deebo Samuel / Brandon Aiyuk – Deebo is slightly cheaper on FanDuel and has a higher upside. Aiyuk has shown a consistent floor.
TX’s Mid Tier WRs:
- Adam Thielen – Let us down last week, but we can go back this week against the 31st ranked defense against the pass allowing 198 receiving yards a game to WR.
- Puka Nacua / Cooper Kupp – Kupp has disappeared, and it seems Puka has taken the lead. Both are tough plays, but Kupp crushed the Browns last time out.
TX’s Door #3 WRs:
- Amari Cooper / Chris Godwin – Either one can go off; both have huge upside, but are underperforming. I lean Godwin against Carolina.
- DJ Chark / Jonathan Mingo – Deep plays if you need some value.
TX’s Elite TEs:
- George Kittle – Best option on the slate.
TX’s Mid Tier TEs:
- David Njoku – Seeing a lot of targets and facing a defense that is ranked towards the back against TEs.
TX’s Door #3 TEs:
- Tyler Higbee – Dart throw for some value in a game that he should see some opportunities.
Defenses:
- Buccaneers – Facing Young at home.
- Rams – Facing Flacco at home.
- Browns – Stafford can turn the ball over.
