TX’s NFL DFS Afternoon Slate Plays – Week 12
What’s up, 4 DEEP?! My article will cover the four afternoon games on FanDuel. Ask me any lineup questions in Discord before lock (@TX). Let’s get into it!!
UPDATES:
Favorite Stacks:
- Bills
- Eagles
- Chiefs
TX’s Elite QBs:
- Jalen Hurts – Priced between Allen and Mahomes this week. He brings a solid floor to our lineups.
- Josh Allen – A little pricey this week, but gets the Eagles passing defense, which is ranked 31st, allowing two passing TDs a game over their last nine.
- Patrick Mahomes – Decent discount on Mahomes, but the Chief offense can’t catch the ball. It’s a divisional match-up where he scores 49% more fantasy points.
TX’s Mid Tier QB:
- Kyler Murray – At home this week against the Rams and has looked good since he’s been back. His rushing upside builds a solid floor and gives him a nice ceiling.
- Russell Wilson – Been playing well of late, hasn’t flashed much of a ceiling, but he’s at home against a defense that allows 70% more fantasy points on the road.
TX’s Door #3 QB:
- Matthew Stafford – The Cards allow 30% more fantasy points at home and are 24th over their last nine games, allowing 1.6 passing touchdowns.
TX’s Elite RBs:
- D’Andre Swift – I like the game script here for Swift. I think the Eagles get ahead and Swift gets some extra opportunities.
- Isiah Pacheco – Just a hard runner against a defense that ranks 26th in rushing yards allowed at 104 a game.
TX’s Mid Tier RBs:
- James Conner – Decent price and can get us two touchdowns.
- Kyren Williams – Hate the price on him, but I think that takes away some ownership against a defense ranked 31st in yards and touchdowns allowed.
- James Cook – His attempts and role seem to be increasing. His price is a bit low for the upside he has.
TX’s Door #3 RBs:
- Javonte Williams – At home against the Browns, where he should get plenty of opportunities on offense.
TX’s Elite WRs:
- Stefon Diggs – If the Bills have a chance, he has to be involved. The Eagle passing defense ranks 32nd in yards and touchdowns allowed.
- AJ Brown – Coming off a down game, but he’s at home and there’s nobody on the Bills that can hold him.
- Cooper Kupp – I think he’s too cheap for the upside he has. He hasn’t showed much over the last four games, but we know what he can do and the Cards rank 24th in yards allowed to WR.
TX’s Mid Tier WRs:
- Courtland Sutton – Touchdown machine, but doesn’t have the 20+ fantasy point ceiling.
- Davante Adams – It’s Adams, but it’s a tough play with our other options and the Chiefs defense has played well.
- DeVonta Smith – I like the Slim Reaper if you don’t go Brown. The Bills mostly will go two high safeties to slow down Brown, so Smith should eat.
- Puka Nacua – Price is ugly, but playing the same poor Cards defense as Kupp.
TX’s Door #3 WRs:
- Rashee Rice – Who else on the Chiefs is showing up?
- Marquise Brown – Decent upside with Murray back.
TX’s Elite TEs:
- Travis Kelce – No analysis needed.
- Trey McBride – I think he carries a lot of ownership at this price and with the amount of opportunities he gets. Cash play if you’re not spending up on Kelce.
TX’s Mid Tier TEs:
- Dalton Kincaid – I think it’s a Diggs game, but this is another way to get exposure to this offense.
- David Njoku – Seeing a lot of targets and facing a defense that is ranked towards the back against TEs.
TX’s Door #3 TEs:
- Tyler Higbee – Dart throw for some value in a game that he should see some opportunities.
Defenses:
- Broncos – At home against a back-up and have a decent price tag.
- Chiefs – Been one of the better defenses this year and should have plenty of opportunities for sacks and turnovers.
- Cardinals – At home, where I think they cheat against a turnover-prone Stafford.
