TX’s Elite Pitching:
- Max Fried FD: $9.5k – Road favorite going against the Giants. The Giants have a 39% K-rate to lefties, .293 wOBA, and a .107 ISO. The Giants have a .220 batting average against Fried in 40 at bats. Fried averages 23% more fantasy points on the road. Fried is in the top 80% of average exit velocity and top 95% in average distance in the last 30 days.
TX’s Mid-Tier Pitching:
- Eury Perez FD: $8.5k – Home favorite facing the Nationals today. I think we get some nice value here with Eury. Eury has scored 39 FPPG in his last five home games and finished with 39 fantasy points last time he faced the Nationals.
TX’s Door #3 Pitcher:
- James Paxton FD: $9.2k – I know I usually put the value pitcher down here, but today I’m going with Paxton. He has a tough match-up against the Dodgers today, but we are getting a nice discount on him because of that. He has huge ceiling and pitches much better at home scoring 26% more fantasy points. Last time he faced the Dodgers he struck out 11, got the QS and win, finishing with 57 fantasy points.
