Scarface’s 2023 NFL Week 13 Intro:
Welcome, 4Deeps, to my weekly NFL GPP article. Time to pick up right where we left off last year, coming off my best NFL season and helping you guys win also. I want to welcome the new subs and let you know that it won’t be pretty every week, but the weeks that are, we will go straight to the top.

In this article, I will list my favorite plays at each position with a mini breakdown, followed by some game stack ideas we can use in GPPs, and my Core 4 building blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel. In keeping with the Scarface theme, I will conclude with my “Say Hello to My Little Friend” (Slate Edge Play), “Every Dog Has His Day” (Favorite Value Play), and “Say Goodnight to the Bad Guy” (Chalk Fade).
Also don’t forget to check out the Mayhem Minute section on Game Day for a more narrowed breakdown of my favorite plays at each position.
SUNDAY UPDATES: 12/3 – Adding Olave to my pool and lowering my exposure to the other Saints. ALSO ADDING BREVIN JORDAN, RAHMONDRE STEVENSON AND JAVONTE WILLIAMS TO MY LIST
I will be available in Discord (@Scarface521) Sunday Mornings for any questions you have about your lineups. 💪🏻
QB:
- Tua Tagovailoa – Washington has been the nut matchup all year for QBs.
- Brock Purdy – He is the safest QB on this slate for his price and there is upside in this matchup as well.
- Russell Wilson – The Texans have been involved in shootouts the last four weeks. Like Purdy, Russ is a safe play that has upside here for his price.
- Sam Howell – Howell has put up some great fantasy numbers thanks to a bad defense and great game scripts for fantasy production. This script should be no different.
- Kenny Pickett – Using him and his receivers against a bad Arizona team is a nice cheap stack that gives you a lot of options for spend-ups.
RB:
- Christian McCaffrey – CMC is in play every week, as he is matchup-proof and this week with the value on the slate, it’s very easy to get him in your lineups.
- Alvin Kamara – The main beneficiary of the injuries to the Saints’ Receivers is Kamara. He not only has a chance at double digit targets here, but gets a Lions Defense also that has given up 124 yards rushing on average the last five games.
- Raheem Mostert / De’Von Achane – Not easy to click the price on these two, but it’s hard to imagine that one of them isn’t involved in a Miami onslaught. They are a good way to get leverage over the ownership to the passing game.
- Jahymr Gibbs – This game could be a track meet and Gibbs should be more involved than Monty.
- Kyren Williams – On paper, this is a bad matchup, but this Cleveland D is banged up and potential turnovers by this gruesome offense should be giving the Rams good field position for Kyren and his workload.
- Rachaad White – Doesn’t get better than this matchup for RBs.
- Zack Moss – He is a free square this week. Set it and forget it. Fade at your own risk.
- Jaylen Warren – Another defense that we always attack is Arizona.
WR:
- Tyreek Hill – EZ.
- Amon-Ra St. Brown – When Lattimore is out, I always target the Saints secondary. Sun God should roam free here.
- Jaylen Waddle – All the Dolphins are in play.
- Devonta Smith – Smith has been the beneficiary of Goedert’s injury. As long as he’s out, Smith over Brown.
- Deebo Samuel – Philly has no one that can keep up with Deebo.
- Adam Thielen – His price is down and the TB defense is banged up. Get right spot for him.
- Courtland Sutton – Sutton over Jeudy.
- Terry McLaurin – All the Wash pass catchers are in play.
- Josh Downs – $2K cheaper than Pittman and saw 13 targets last week.
- George Pickens – Should be open all day against this secondary.
- Value Plays: Jonathan Mingo / Jahan Dotson / AT Perry / Greg Dortch
TE:
- Taysom Hill – Always a gamble with Taysom, but they design a lot of plays for him and he has a knack for vulturing TDs.
- Pat Freiermuth – Priced up from last week, but in an arguably better spot here.
- Logan Thomas – Washington should be playing from behind and it puts all the pass catchers for them in play.
- Hunter Henry – Revenge game and Douglas is out.
- David Njoku – With Flacco starting expect a lot of short passes.
- Juwan Johnson – Injuries to the Saint receivers puts him in play.
DEF:
Defense is always a crapshoot. My strategy most weeks is to build out my lineups first and see which defenses I land on. These are some that I will be using:
- Pittsburgh
- Miami
- Rams
- Tampa Bay
- Jets
- Atlanta
Game Stack Ideas For GPPs:
- Dolphins at Commanders – Tua / Tyreek / ACHANE . Run it back with any Washington receiver.
- Broncos – Russell Wilson / Sutton / Jeudy.
- Commanders vs. Dolphins – Howell / McLaurin / Logan Thomas. Run it back with Tyreek or Waddle.
- 49ers – Purdy / CMC / Deebo.
- Steelers – Pickett / Pickens / Freiermuth.
Core 4 on FanDuel:
- TUA/MOSS/RASHAAD WHITE/TYREEK
Core 4 on DraftKings:
- TUA/MOSS/RASHAAD WHITE/TYREEK
