Scarface’s 2023 NFL Week 12 Intro:
Welcome, 4Deeps, to my weekly NFL GPP article. Time to pick up right where we left off last year, coming off my best NFL season and helping you guys win also. I want to welcome the new subs and let you know that it won’t be pretty every week, but the weeks that are, we will go straight to the top.

In this article, I will list my favorite plays at each position with a mini breakdown, followed by some game stack ideas we can use in GPPs, and my Core 4 building blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel. In keeping with the Scarface theme, I will conclude with my “Say Hello to My Little Friend” (Slate Edge Play), “Every Dog Has His Day” (Favorite Value Play), and “Say Goodnight to the Bad Guy” (Chalk Fade).
Also don’t forget to check out the Mayhem Minute section on Game Day for a more narrowed breakdown of my favorite plays at each position.
SUNDAY UPDATES: 11/26- ADDING JUSTIN WATSON, GREG DORTCH AS VALUE PLAYS
I will be available in Discord (@Scarface521) Sunday Mornings for any questions you have about your lineups. 💪🏻
QB:
- Jalen Hurts – Even in bad games, Hurts manages to put up good fantasy numbers. He will always have upside as long as he keeps getting those goal line looks.
- Josh Allen – This offense looked much better last week with the new OC against a great Jets D. The Bills are fighting for a playoff spot and Allen will be putting up a big fantasy number against this Philly Pass Defense.
- CJ Stroud – Hard to imagine with the month Stroud is having that he will come in at less ownership than most of the QBs on this slate.
- Trevor Lawrence – His breakout game came last week and he is arguably in a better spot this week. He is cheap and it’s very easy to stack him up with his receivers in a high-total game.
- Gardner Minshew – If you’re looking to pay down this week, he is in a good spot at home against a TB defense that has been getting lit up.
RB:
- Travis Etienne – Will come in with ownership on DK, but looks to be going overlooked on FD, where he is $8600.
- Jonathan Taylor – His price and usage is making him the highest-owned RB on the slate.
- D’Andre Swift – A great way to get a piece of the Philly offense if you’re fading Hurts and his receivers.
- Derrick Henry – It’s now or never in this matchup.
- Rhamondre Stevenson – We saw Brian Robinson in this same spot last week against NYG at high ownership. Stevenson is in the very same spot with much lower ownership.
- Isiah Pacheco – Bounce back spot against the Raiders.
- James Conner – Makes most lineups work and has a solid floor.
- Jerome Ford – Getting most of the snaps still and is in a good spot with a good price.
- Jaylen Warren / Najee Harris – The New OC in Pittsburgh was their RB Coach. Who do you think he will be drawing up the most plays for?
WR:
- AJ Brown / Devonta Smith – Tough to get to them on DK with the way they are priced, but a lot easier on FD.
- Stefon Diggs – Pricing is tough on him as well, but this is such a great spot for a ceiling game.
- Puka Nacua – Kupp is clearly injured and limited. Even with Kupp playing, I think Puka sees the targets and has the matchup to have a big day.
- Mike Evans – Produces every week.
- Nico Collins – The pricing finally caught up with Tank Dell, leaving Nico cheaper and lower-owned.
- Michael Pittman / Josh Downs – TB is one of the worst secondaries in the league.
- Christian Kirk / Calvin Ridley –This passing game got back on track last week and will continue this week.
- Gabe Davis – The forgotten man in the Buffalo offense. He still saw the most snaps of any of the receivers last week. He’s got big play upside and I’m guessing they use him this week.
- Demario Douglas – Has good volume for his price.
- Rashid Shaheed – Always on my radar for his big play ability. Plus, Michael Thomas is out, which should increase his targets.
- A.T. Perry – Another Saints receiver who sees more playing time with Thomas out.
- Robert Woods – Noah Brown out again. Woods saw eight targets last game.
TE:
- Travis Kelce – Kelce kills the Raiders. Always a matter of does he fit into your lineups.
- Dalton Kincaid – The clear No. 2 option in this offense. Averaging eight targets a game over the last five weeks.
- Evan Engram – Has yet to find the end zone this year, but is still seeing his targets.
- Trey McBride – He has seen 16 targets in Kyler’s two games back.
DEF:
Defense is always a crapshoot. My strategy most weeks is to build out my lineups first and see which defenses I land on. These are some that I will be using:
- New England
- Kansas City
- Denver
- Pittsburgh
- New Orleans
Game Stack Ideas For GPPs:
- Jaguars at Texans – Lawrence / Kirk or Ridley / Engram. Run it back with any Texan receiver.
- Texans vs. Jaguars – Stroud / Nico / Woods. Run it back with Etienne or a Jags receiver.
- Bills at Eagles – Allen / Diggs / Davis or Kincaid. Run it back with Swift or Smith.
- Colts vs. Buccaneers – Minshew / Taylor / Pittman. Run it back with Evans or Otton.
Core 4 on FanDuel:
- ALLEN/STEVENSON/PACHECO/KINCAID
Core 4 on DraftKings:
- STEVENSON/KIRK/PACHECO/KINCAID
