Price's 2023 ZOZO DFS Breakdown

Price’s 2023 Zozo Championship DFS Breakdown:

This week we have the Zozo that will be starting about 12 hours earlier than normal since they are in Japan. It’s a 78-man field, no cut event. It’s by far the best field we’ve had for the fall swing with guys such as Xander and Sungjae teeing it up. It’s a par 70, but it has an extra par 3 and a third par 5, which is unusual for a par 70. The winning score typically is in the low teens under par.

You’ll get all six guys playing four round unless we get hit with a random withdraw, so anything can happen considering everyone has guys going Sunday. Set your lineups and check back Sunday morning and hope your guys don’t stink. This will be a little different format due to the condensed field. All prices listed are for DraftKings.

$9K+:

  • Xander – He’s first in my stat model, and has three top 17 finishes here.
  • Hideki – Sixth in my model, finished second a few years ago.
  • Davis – Fifth in model, 29th last year, and great form coming in.
  • Theegala – 12th in model, finished fifth here last year, and won a few weeks ago.
  • Bradley – 14th in stats, defending champ, chip on shoulder over being left off Ryder Cup.

$7.5K+:

  • Cole – Third in model, just been on fire for a year straight basically. Leads the PGA Tour in birdies made since debuting for his rookie season.
  • Svensson – 10th in model, putts as well as I can fit into small spaces.
  • Norrman – Euro stud, rates 22nd in model.
  • Rai – He’s ninth in the model, caught fire on the weekend last week, and finished 36th last year.
  • Hoge – 16th in model, finished fifth here last year.
  • Hubbard – Eighth in model, third time playing here, hoping the momentum from round 2 last week carries over.

$6K+:

  • Taylor – He only rates 44th, but has shown ability to contend and win on tour at a discounted price.
  • Wu – It’s his first time here, rates 24th, putter is amazing, just needs an average week from his irons.
  • Hitsasune – Mainly euro guy, rates 26th in model, finished 12th here last year.
  • Champ – He shit the bed Sunday, but back to back 8th’s here, and rates 27th in stat model.
  • Ryder – Rates seventh in model, finished 36th here last year. Nice cheap play.
  • Nakajima – Rates 57th, but immensely talented precious top amateur in the world in home country.
  • Lower – 21st in stat model, good recent form. Solid last player in to round out lineups.
