Price’s 2023 WWT Championship DFS Breakdown
This week they head down to Mexico for the World Wide Technology Championship. We have only one previous champion in the field, in Matt Kuchar. It is a solid field considering it is still in the fall swing, headlined by Aberg, Cam Young, and Sahith Theegala. All prices listed are for DraftKings.

$10K+:
- Aberg: $11,200 – He is first in the field in SG:OTT, birdies or better gained, top 5 in driving distance and strokes gained tee to green. Dude is a fucking stud, just a matter of making him fit at this price.
- Jaeger: $10,200- Jaeger rates first in the stat model overall, because he is elite at every metric besides putting. Dude needs to just not be lost on the greens and he will T10, thankfully these kinds of resort courses are fairly easy to putt on.
- GPP Plays: Glover
$9K+:
- Spaun: $9400 – Has made five cuts in a row here, including a third and 15th place finish here in that span. Rates fourth in the stat model, only hindrance really is his driving distance and when he get sloppy putting.
- Svensson: $9300 – Svensson has been solid this fall, looks to be not too highly owned, and he comes in rating fifth overall in stats for me.
- List: $9000 – List has apparently made the miracle change to his game and learned how to putt. He rates second in the stat model for me, and is priced right where all you really need is a top 10 from him. He has absolutely dog shit course history, so this is not a play you make lightly.
- GPP Plays: Grillo, Detry
$8K+:
Not a huge fan of this range this week.
- Hubbard: $8500 – Hubbard is someone I love to target during weaker field events, and I have written him up every fall event so far. He rates 25th for me this week, and has made two of three cuts at this event over the last few years. He just needs to be average off the tee and he will do just fine for us.
- Thompson: $8300 – He is going to be chalk, but for good reason. He rates eighth in stats for me, and he absolutely lights up birdie fests. If you are playing single entry or cash, he is a must, and on the brink for GPP, also. He should mash this price tag.
- Pendrith: $8000 – Pendrith rates 12th for me in stats this week, is very good off the tee and putting, and this is the kind of course he should really excel on. He is coming in off a third place finish in his last time out on tour, where he gained over eight strokes tee to green.
- GPP Plays: Gotterup
$7K+:
The 7k range is where the winning lineups will differentiate themselves.
- Ghim: $7700 – This guy just always pops in stat models, this week he is ninth in mine. He has made the cut here two of his three times out, does everything well except proximity from 175-200 yards. If you pick him, you are hoping he has an average week from that distance and does not lose 20,948 strokes putting!
- Ryder: $7600 – Had a little breakthrough here last year, in his fifth try in a row, he got a top 10. He rates 17th for me, but rates top eight in approach, tee to green, proximity from 175-200, and birdies or better gained.
- Tarren: $7600 – He is going to be chalk, he rates seventh in the stat model, I will personally not go there because I do not trust him, but he is a good guy to target for showdown. Or if you are okay with riding the insanity of him missing five-foot putts all the time, fire him up for week long.
- Ramey: $7400 – Ramey rates 23rd for me in stats this week. He has made eight of his last nine cuts on tour, and has popped at birdie fests, including his win last year in Corales.
- Kuest: $7300 – Kuest rates 15th in stats for me, with his struggle being proximity on approach with longer irons. He should let the driver rip this week and set himself up in better positions to attack, as he is top of the field in driving distance.
- Merritt: $7200 – Troy has had a very good start to the fall swing after a just absolutely terrible 2023 season earlier in the year. He rates 33rd for me, but last year he finished third. The year before 15th, and the year before that, 40th. He has improved each year, and has great current form.
- GPP plays: Champ, Griffin, Riley, Hadley, EVR, Eckroat, Sigg, Wu, Schmid, Streelman, Moore, Yu
$6K+:
This is the price range you expect most of the missed cuts to come from, you’ve just got to hope that if you use anyone here, he makes the cut and can finish top 40. These are not guys you play in 50%+ of your lineups if you run 10 lineups.
- Dou: $6800 – Dou rates 28th for me this week in stats. He is risky, but everybody in this range is. Coming off a tournament where he was 4.3 strokes worse tee to green than normal and 5.3 worse around the green.
- Lower: $6800 – Lower rates 34th for me this week in stats, has spotty form coming in, but he did make the cut here last year.
- Kraft: $6800 – My favorite play of this range, he rates 27th for me in stats this week. He has made five cuts in a row with three top 25 finishes in a row. Love how strong his iron game is coming in.
- GPP Darts: Blair, Hoffman, Gerard, Dufner, Roy, Cone
Core 3 For The Week If:
- doing stars and scrubs – Aberg, Jaeger, Kraft
- doing balanced build – Spaun, Svensson, List
