Price’s 2023 PGA Fortinet DFS Showdown Plays – Round 3

Price's PGA DFS Breakdown

Price’s 2023 PGA Fortinet DFS Showdown Plays – Round 3:

Well, round 2 looked like it was going to be a smash spot and then our guys decided to just stop playing good golf. Onto the next. Most of the chalk made the cut, but we have some nice options to pick from for tomorrow. All prices listed are for DraftKings.

Core Plays:

  1. Justin Thomas: $10,100 – JT looks like his old self. He is bombing drives, has dialed in irons and wedges, and actually has been making a few putts.
  2. Sam Ryder: $8400 – Ryder had another solid round and is gaining strokes across the board. Gaining over 3.5 strokes on approach and tee to green.
  3. David Lipsky: $7500 – Gaining over five strokes ball striking and tee to green, back to back solid rounds and doing awful putting.

$8K+ Plays:

Eric Cole rates by far the best. Homa isn’t far behind. Theegala was mostly short game, but that’s his MO, so he is still in play. Cam Davis would be the fourth option if you skip the others. Todd pisses me off with his stupid sloppy mistakes, but he rates well. Hubbard would be next, he was coasting then bogeyed his final two. Spaun would prob be the last one in this range.

$6000-$7900 Plays:

Kim seems like he won’t go away, so he and Kuch are in play. Lashley and Lee are the two I am having issues picking between. Tarren and Stevens look solid, and Blair undoubtedly will bounce back. Shelton vs. Whaley is another big decision to make, I lean Shelton. Kizzire is intriguing, Kraft probably the last one I’d look at.

Now It’s Time For Two Fades:

  1. Streelman: $8000 – He is losing strokes across the board besides putting, had a great round 1, but just fell apart today.
  2. Herbert: $9100 – Fell back to earth today, people may try for the bounce back, but he’s allll putter and shit everything else.
