Stanley Cup Winner- You are betting on the one team to win the Stanley Cup
Eastern Conference Winner- A bet on who will win the Eastern Conference. The winner of the Eastern Conference is the team that makes it to the Stanley Cup from that conference.
Western Conference Winner- A bet on who will win the Western Conference. The winner of the Western Conference is the team that makes it to the Stanley Cup from that conference.
Potential Stanley Cup Matchups- A prop bet picking the two teams who will face each other in the Stanley Cup.
Division Winner– Betting on the team who comes in first place in their division at the end of the regular season.
Stanley Cup State of Winning Team- Betting on the state that the Stanley Cup winning team is from.
Stanley Cup Exact Outcome- Betting on the specific Stanley Cup winning matchup. Which team will win in the Stanley Cup and which team will lose in the Stanley Cup.
Stanley Cup Exact Outcome Divisions- Betting on which divisions the Stanley Cup teams will come out of. You will pick one Eastern Conference division and one Western Conference division.
Stanley Cup Division of Winning Team- Betting on which division the Stanley Cup winner will be from.
Stanley Cup Winning Conference- Betting on which conference the Stanley Cup winner will be from.
Division Straight Forecast- Betting on who will be the winner and the runner-up in a division at the end of the regular season.
Division Dual Forecast- Betting on which two teams will come in first and second place without having to pick the winner.
Eastern Conference #1 Seed- Betting on who will win the #1 seed in the playoffs for the Eastern Conference. Bet is determined at the end of the regular season.
Western Conference #1 Seed- Betting on who will win the #1 seed in the playoffs for the Western Conference. Bet is determined at the end of the regular season.
MVP Winner (Hart Memorial Trophy)- Betting on the player who will be voted as the most valuable player of the season.
Coach of the Year (Jack Adams Award)- Betting on who will be voted as the best coach of the year at the end of the season.
League’s Best Goalie (Vezina Award Winner)- Betting on which goaltender will be voted for having the best year.
Most Outstanding Player Award (Ted Linsay Award)- You are betting on the player to be voted as the best player of the year by the other players. This is different than the Hart Memorial Winner as this is voted on by the players and not journalists, etc.
Best Defenseman of the Season (James Norris Memorial Trophy)- You are betting on the defenseman to be voted as the best defenseman of the year.
Best Defensive Forward (Frank J Selke. Award)- You are betting on the player to be voted as the best defensive forward that year.
Most Sportsmanlike Player of the Year (Lady Byng Memorial Trophy)- You are betting on the player to be voted as the most sportsmanlike player and gentlemanlike conduct. This player is regarded with a high standard of playing ability.
Perseverance Award (Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy)- You are betting on the player who is regarded as having the top qualities of perseverance and sportsmanship in their dedication to the sport of hockey.
Rookie of the Year (Calder Memorial Winner)- Betting on the player who will be voted as the best offensive rookie of the year.
Most Regular Season Goals- Betting on the player who will have the most goals at the end of the regular season.
Most Regular Season Points- Betting on the player who will have the most receiving touchdowns at the end of the regular season.
Total Wins Regular Season- Betting on a team to win more or less than the designated total for that team.
Will Team Make the Playoffs- Betting on whether or not that team will make the playoffs that year.
SINGLE GAME PLAYS:
Puck-Line- A puck line is the equivalent to a football spread but is delegated by total goals. The standard puckline is 1.5 meaning the favorite (-1.5) needs to win by two goals or more, or the underdog (+1.5) needs to lose by no more than one goal, or win the game outright.
Money Line- Betting on which team will win the game.
Over/Under- Betting on whether the total goals scored in the game will be over or under the designated total for that game. If a game goes into a shootout, the winning team is awarded one ‘team goal.’ The total goals in the shootout
Alt Line- getting better or worse odds to change the spread or over/under on a game.
Team Total- Betting on whether the total goals scored by that specific team will go over or under the designated line. Some sportsbooks let you play alternate totals.
Game Props:
Will there be a goal in the first 10 minutes- You are betting on whether either team will score a goal within the first 9:59 of the game.
60 Minute Line 2-Way- You are betting on the regulation time of the game. If the bet is a ‘2-way’ line, this means you will push if the game ends tied.
60 Minute Line 3-Way- You are betting on the regulation time of the game. If the bet is a ‘3-way’ line, you can bet if the game ends in a tie and goes into overtime. If you bet either team and the game goes into overtime you lose the bet.
Total Shots on Goal- You are betting on whether that team will have more or less than the designated shots on goal for that game.
Will there be a shutout? You are betting on whether one team will not score a goal in the 60 minutes of regulation time.
Player Props
Anytime Goal Scorer- This is a bet on whether a player will score a goal at any point of the game. The shootout does not count toward this.
First Goal Scorer- This is a bet on who will score the first goal of the game for either team. Some books offer the option to bet on the first goal scorer of a specific team.
Last Goal Scorer- This is a bet on who will score the last goal of the game for either team. Some books offer the option to bet on the first goal scorer of a specific team. Overtime is included in this wager but the shootout is not.
2+ Goals- Betting on a specific player to score two or more goals in that game.
3+ Goals- Betting on a specific player to score three or more goals in that game.
O/U Points- Betting on a specific player to have more or less than the designated points that game.
Total Shots on Goal (SOG)- Betting on a specific player to have more or less than the designated shots that game.
Total Saves- Betting on that specific goalie to have more or less than the designated saves in that game.
