This article will be covering the main slate for NFL Championship Round, beginning Sunday at 3pm. If you’re not familiar with this piece, it will be broken down into the following three sections: A cheat sheet with three tiers of players (each pricing tier based on DK positions/pricing), my favorite stacks to target and which players in said stacks I prefer, and lastly, my “Today’s Edge” section, which covers my edge play/fade of the slate (will update ~2 hours prior to lock), top touchdown picks, and the player I will have the most exposure to on the slate across all my lineups.

Players to consider for your Championship Sunday NFL GPPs. This isn’t a list of every player I will have, but rather the top guys I am including in my stacks/core, whether it be as a matchup-based play, ownership-based play, or even a leverage play, they will all be included in this core list.

Stacks:

A common roster construction I like to use in large-field tournaments is stacking a quarterback with one or two of his skill position (RB, WR, TE) teammates and playing one or two guys from the opposition. I plan to attack Championship Weekend no differently. 

• My top overall stack is the NFC showdown in San Francisco. Deploying Purdy is the preferred option given the Lions’ struggles in the secondary. I love pairing him up with Kittle and/or Aiyuk this week with Deebo banged up. CMC is fully stackable with Purdy as a third option in an effort to capture ALL the SF offensive scoring. Jauan Jennings is a viable value flyer if building multiple lineups. In terms of run backs, Gibbs is my favorite option given SF has allowed 90 REC to opposing RBs this season (5th most in league), followed by St. Brown, then the value in Williams and/or Josh Reynolds.

  • Lions – Goff: ASB / Williams / Gibbs
