This article will be covering the main slate for NFL Week 9 beginning Sunday at 1:00pm. If you’re not familiar with this piece, it will be broken down into the following three sections: A cheat sheet with three tiers of players (each pricing tier based on DK positions/pricing), my favorite stacks to target and which players in said stacks I prefer, and lastly, my “Today’s Edge” section, which covers my edge play/fade of the slate (will update ~2 hours prior to lock), top touchdown picks, and the player I will have the most exposure to on the slate across all my lineups.

Players to consider for your Week 9 NFL GPPs. This isn’t a list of every player I will have, but rather the top guys I am including in my stacks/core, whether it be as a matchup-based play, ownership-based play, or even a leverage play, they will all be included in this core list.

Stacks:
A common roster construction I like to use in large-field tournaments is stacking a quarterback with one or two of his skill position (RB, WR, TE) teammates and playing one or two guys from the opposition. I plan to attack Week 9 no differently.
- My top overall stack is the Commanders at Patriots. At no time did I think I would be excited to click on Mac Jones to headline my quarterback pool, but here we are. With a unique slate with several of the top offenses off the main slate, we have an opportunity to get a solid, very cheap stack to build around. Washington traded away their entire pass rush, which should allow Mac ample time to pick this already beatable secondary apart. Pairing up Mac with Douglas and/or Henry are the primary targets with Gesicki and Reagor being secondary, deep GPP targets. In terms of run backs, the Redskins seem to be fantasy relevant every week despite game flow. This week I plan to run back Pats stacks with McLaurin (preferred) or Jahan Dotson.
