Healy’s Hints – 2023 NFL Week 16 Intro:
Excited to bring my NFL GPP content back to the team at 4DEEP, where we will look to build upon all of our previous success. Please join us in Discord before lock and feel free to ask me (@Bhealy19) any lineup questions.
This article will be covering the main slate for NFL Week 16 beginning Sunday at 1:00pm. If you’re not familiar with this piece, it will be broken down into the following three sections: A cheat sheet with three tiers of players (each pricing tier based on DK positions/pricing), my favorite stacks to target and which players in said stacks I prefer, and lastly, my “Today’s Edge” section, which covers my edge play/fade of the slate (will update ~2 hours prior to lock), top touchdown picks, and the player I will have the most exposure to on the slate across all my lineups.
SUNDAY UPDATES: 12/24 –
Cheatsheet:
Players to consider for your Week 16 NFL GPPs. This isn’t a list of every player I will have, but rather the top guys I am including in my stacks/core, whether it be as a matchup-based play, ownership-based play, or even a leverage play, they will all be included in this core list.
$ Tier | QB | RB | WR | TE | D/ST |
Top Tier | Justin Fields | Rachaad White | Amon-Ra St. Brown | TJ Hockenson | Packers |
Top Tier | Jared Goff | Jon Taylor | Justin Jefferson | Trey McBride | Texans |
Mid Tier | Baker Mayfield | Jahmyr Gibbs | DJ Moore | Jake Ferguson | Jets |
Mid Tier | Nick Mullens | Ken Walker | Garrett Wilson | Cole Kmet | Bears |
Value Tier | Taylor Heinicke | Devin Singletary | Drake London | Kyle Pitts | Titans |
Value Tier | Trevor Siemian | D’Onta Foreman | Treylon Burks / Jameson Williams | Chig Okonkwo | Panthers |
Sunday Update: D’Onta Foreman will be out for bears, which catapults Rochon Johnson.
Stacks:
A common roster construction I like to use in large-field tournaments is stacking a quarterback with one or two of his skill position (RB, WR, TE) teammates and playing one or two guys from the opposition. I plan to attack Week 16 no differently.
- My top overall stack is the Lions at Vikings. While there will be some ownership on this game, it will primarily be via NICK Mullens, and he is playable given the weapons around him and Detroit’s lack of pass defense. That being said, I’m going to primarily use GOFF as my QB, who is in a “pay up to be contrarian” spot. The Vikings have been solid defending the run, but have been a sieve to RBs out of the backfield, which feeds right into Jahmyr Gibbs’ game. Goff stacked with ASB, then Gibbs, and Williams is how I’m approaching my builds. JJ is the ideal runback while HOCK is in a revenge spot as a cheaper option. Lastly, Ty Chandler, despite Mattison coming back, will remain firmly in play.
- Other Stacks To Consider:
- Falcons – Heinicke: London / Pitts / Robinson
- Buccaneers – Mayfield: Evans / Godwin / White
- Bears – Fields: Moore / Kmet / Mooney
Today’s Edge:
- Touchdown Predictions:
- Ken Walker
- Cole Kmet
- Top Owned Plays on Slate (based on exposure across all my lineups):
- QB – Jared Goff
- Skill Player – Rochan Johnson
- Healy’s Slate Edge:

- Cash Game Strategy:
- FD: Nick Mullins, Rachaad White, R. Johnson, Ridley
- DK: Mullins, White, Johnson, G. Wilson
