This article will be covering the three-game Thanksgiving Day slate for NFL Week 12 beginning Thursday at 12:00pm. If you’re not familiar with this piece, it will be broken down into the following three sections: A cheat sheet with three tiers of players (each pricing tier based on DK positions/pricing), my favorite stacks to target and which players in said stacks I prefer, and lastly, my “Today’s Edge” section, which covers my edge play/fade of the slate (will update ~2 hours prior to lock), top touchdown picks, and the player I will have the most exposure to on the slate across all my lineups.

Players to consider for your Week 12 NFL Thanksgiving GPPs. This isn’t a list of every player I will have, but rather the top guys I am including in my stacks/core, whether it be as a matchup-based play, ownership-based play, or even a leverage play, they will all be included in this core list.

Stacks:

A common roster construction I like to use in large-field tournaments is stacking a quarterback with one or two of his skill position (RB, WR, TE) teammates and playing one or two guys from the opposition. I plan to attack this short slate no differently. 

• My top overall stack is the Cowboys. Onslaughting the Cowboys, who I expect to be the highest scoring team on the slate, is the route I’m most interested in. Dak with 2-3 pass catchers is how I’m construction Dallas stacks. Though on a main slate it’s a cardinal rule to not include the team’s DST in stacks, including the Cowboys’ DST on this three-game slate is also acceptable. Lamb is clearly the top pairing option, but the key decisions are the second, third, and fourth options; I’d rate them as Ferguson, Cooks, then Tolbert, with Gallup being a firm fade. A runback certainly isn’t necessary if you are expecting a lopsided affair, but we know Howell will be chucking 40+ times, so one of his 10 receiving targets has hope of being on our slate winner. Samuel is my favorite, followed by Robinson. Should Gibson be ruled in, he will be a target of mine with his strong pass-catching ability, and if he is out, Chris Rodriguez is an interesting large-field tournament dart.
