Healy’s Daily MLB DraftKings Plays – 9/6/23 (Main)

Healy’s MLB Daily Fantasy Intro:

Excited to bring my MLB GPP cheatsheet back to the team at 4DEEP, where we will look to build upon all of our past success. Today, I’ll be covering the main slate beginning at 7:05pm. If you’re not familiar with this piece, it will be broken down into the following three sections. A cheat sheet with three tiers of players (each pricing tier is based on DraftKings positions/pricing and includes my preferred cash plays from each position), my favorite stacks to target and which players in said stacks I prefer, and lastly, my “Today’s Edge” section, which covers my edge play/fade of the slate, top HR picks, and the players I expect to be the top performers.

Cheatsheet:

I’m here to give you the players to consider for your 9/6/23 MLB GPPs. This isn’t a list of every player I will have, but rather the top guys I am including in my stacks/core, whether it be as a matchup-based play, ownership-based play, or even a leverage play, they will all be included in this core list.

Pitching Pool:

• Spencer Strider – ATL vs. STL – DK: $12.3k / FD: $12.3k
• Kyle Gibson – BAL @ LAA – DK: $8.3k / FD: $8.6k
• Clark Schmidt – NYY vs. DET – DK: $7.1k / FD: $8.8k
• Touki Toussaint CWS @ KC – DK: $6.3k / FD: $6.9k

Stacks:

1. Mets: They project to be popular yet again, but arguably have a better matchup than last night with the same elite hitting conditions. Lefty hitters have destroyed Adon and the Mets should deploy seven of them. Obviously, you can always include Alonso or Alvarez (catcher) within full stacks.
2. Yankees: If they could roll out 1-2 more LHH, they would be my top stack, but they don’t. Dominguez is the top play, followed by remaining bats 1-7.
3. Nationals: GAME STACK! Butto’s 19% walk rate immediately jumped off the page for the Nats being a top stack option. Their lineup is loaded with value to allow for Strider. 1-6 is my focus, with Meneses and Abrams being my favorites.
4. Braves: If you are not throwing Strider, the Braves are a top stack. However, pricing makes it challenging to play both. Pitch data is elite for the entire lineup, but Sean Murphy would be the one I’d be most likely to skip.
5. Honorable Mention: Rangers
