DMar's DraftKings CFB Daily Fantasy Plays

Dmar’s 2023 CFB Week 11 Daily Fantasy Intro:

What’s up, 4Deep?! Week 11 is here. Enjoy another great day of football and let’s take something down! Like always, I will be in Discord (@Dmar) to help assist you with your teams before lock. Good luck, everyone!

UPDATES: Something to monitor is the health of Nakia Watson for WSU, If he can’t go or is limited then Djouvensky Schlenbaker would provide good salary relief today at 3k.

Quarterbacks:

  • Michael Penix Jr – The current Heisman favorite and this game is a big one. Utah is always a tough game, but Penix has the skills and talent around him to have a big day. Will be contrarian with how hard it will be to fit him and his WR, but we really don’t have any slam dunk options beneath him, so if they bust, you could have a huge advantage.
  • John Rhys Plumlee – This is the type of game Plumlee thrives in and he will be one of my favorite plays Saturday. Pairing him up with Baker or Hudson makes for a good starting point.
  • Jalen Milroe – Pure GPP play as the ownership won’t be there, even after the monster game from a week ago. But his rushing upside is unmatched on this slate and if ‘Bama continues to run him like they did against LSU, he can have another huge day.
  • Cam Ward – As much as it pains me to write him up as he has treated me terribly, I can’t ignore him on this slate. He has shown some of the best upside on the slate and has multiple WRs you can easily pair up with him. Should be top three on ownership for QBs.
  • Brady Cook – A game that could easily be a shootout and he has been fantastic at home this season. Joe Milton makes for a great runback in the stack.
  • Fernando Mendoza – We got a good look at Mendoza against USC where he flashed his upside. While I don’t expect quite the same type of performance, he is priced nicely and is a good pivot to the chalkier play I’m about to mention.
  • Noah Fifita – Fifta has looked good along with this Arizona team. He gets a Colorado team who looks like they have about packed it in on the season and the defense was bad to start with. He is the preferred cheap QB option.

Running Backs:

  • Ollie Gordon – Whoever guessed Ollie Gordon would be RB1 this fantasy season deserves a big prize. He continues to dominate against every type of defense, and now he gets a very leaky UCF defense and is still way underpriced.
  • Jayden Ott – Up there with Ollie with the upside he brings to the table. Churned out 20 against a good Oregon defense, so this week should come much easier for him.
  • Tahj Brooks – Refreshing to see a Tech RB be the lead guy all throughout the season. Brooks is just that and Kansas’s defense has struggled to stop the run all season. Great floor here.
  • Devin Neal – The talented Neal gets another favorable matchup this week, and even though it can be frustrating with how they rotate backs, the carries continue to be there for Neal.
  • Makhi Hughes – Mispriced here and will be one of the more popular plays on the slate. Has looked great all year and is going for six games in a row over 100 yards. Play him with confidence.
  • RJ Harvey – Of course Harvey had his breakout game when he wasn’t on the main slate, but we see what he’s capable of. While I lean more to playing Plumlee Saturday, this game should have plenty of points scored and Harvey should find the box at least once.
  • Phil Mafah – Mafah was the man last week, and even with Shipley looking to return this week, I think Mafah could still lead this backfield as they bring Shipley back slowly.
  • Jonah Coleman – If Wiley is ruled out, which at the moment it looks as if he won’t play, then Coleman will be the top value on the slate. Even with Wiley in, Coleman has led this backfield the last few weeks and draws one of the best matchups on the board.
  • Jordan Nubin – Like Coleman, we need to monitor some injuries with this one. But if we get Nubin starting, he is a safe play at $4k and we have already seen the coaches trust him with a 40-carry game two weeks ago.

Wide Receivers:

  • Rome Odunze – The best WR on the slate and has the best QB throwing him the ball. It will cost you, but the points will be there. If you can’t get up to Rome, then Ja’Lynn Polk is a little cheaper and can pop for a huge game.
  • Luther Burden – We know how good Burden is and this price is too cheap for this matchup and his skill set.
  • Tetairoa McMillan – We will continue to pick on this Colorado defense and McMillan is my favorite WR to target in this game. Jacob Cowing is also in play if you want to double stack. I just prefer the savings with McMillan. Xavier Weaver is my favorite Colorado runback.
  • Jeremiah Hunter – If you have watched Cal, you might notice #3 never leaves the field. He has the highest snap count out of any WR on the slate. Hunter makes for a great play at his price and is my preferred pairing with Mendoza. Trond Grizzle is another Cal option that has been targeted a lot the past two weeks.
  • Lincoln Victor – Victor returned from injury a few weeks ago and quickly became the guy in this offense. This price is too cheap for what he has been doing. Kyle Williams is priced the same and could be a good pivot or even a double stack option.
  • Rashod Owens – Owens was very busy a week ago with 10 catches. This game should have plenty of good plays, and if game stacking, Owens should be firmly in the mix.
  • Keon Coleman – Need to monitor injury news with this one. Johnny Wilson, who seems more banged up than Coleman, looks to play this week and if we get confirmation he’s good to go, both Wilson and Coleman are in play with Wilson being too cheap. But if Wilson were to miss, Coleman would be a must-play for me.
  • Colbie Young – Big WR only in this game. The 6’5″ Young has been hit and miss this season, but I think this game will be filled with some big plays and Young has the ability to make them.
