BEN’S DAILY FANTASY INTRO
What’s up, 4Deep!? We have a loaded eight-game slate with tons of pitchers up top to choose from. Not a lot to love at the bottom, so finding some value bats will likely be the key to success on this slate!!
PITCHERS
- Max Scherzer DK $12,000 – Big price tag to pay, but if Max is on, he does have the highest upside with the Twins’ massive K rate against righties.
- Freddy Peralta DK $10,800 – Peralta has been lights out this season and we have picked on the Padres a lot this year. If I need the $1,200 in savings, I’m fine using him as my SP1 over Max.
- Kyle Bradish DK $9,000 – My favorite play on the slate and it’s really not even close. I love his price and matchup here, plus he should easily be in line for the W. He will be chalky, but good chalk!
- Chase Silseth DK $6,600 – Silseth is the guy I feel the safest about in this bottom tier. The Mets’ season is all but over and I see them time and time again just lay down if things don’t go their way early and Silseth has shown that he has the upside we are looking for to take something down.
STACKS
- Orioles – Flexen is awful and struggles more to righties than lefties, which makes 1-9 all in play tonight. My favorites being Rutschman, Gunnar, Santander, and Hays.
- Phillies – The Phillies have done us good recently and you best believe I’m going to go right back to them here against Hudson, who has gotten extremely lucky so far in his starts. Harper, Casty, Schwarber, Turner, and Bohm profile the best.
- Reds – Davies is not a good pitcher and this is his first big league start since returning from a back injury. The best thing about this stack is the cheap pieces at the bottom of the order, 5-9, are all in play with CES, Martini, and Benson being my favorites. You can also throw in Cruz and Friedl at the top.
- Oak/CWS – LOVE this game stack as both pitchers/pitching staffs are a joke and we have great hitting weather. For the A’s, it’s Gelof, Rooker, Brown and for the White Sox we want Anderson, Robert, Jimenez, Vaughn, and Lee as they all crush lefties.
