What’s up, 4Deep?! Baseball is here and I’m ready to put us in the driver’s seat to hopefully take down some tournaments this year! First and foremost, baseball is the only sport that I consistently play multiple lineups. I HIGHLY recommend at least playing two lineups. Fading chalk in baseball is usually the key to taking down tournaments, but is not always the correct move. What I will be providing below is an in-depth breakdown of my top stacks of the night and I will always start with what I believe will be the chalk, followed with my favorite pitchers as well. Generally speaking, chalk is usually chalk because they are in a good spot and I will be telling you whether or not I agree with it. What I want though, is for you to understand what is chalk and then determine whether or not you want to play them! Now, let’s get to the fun part with a lot of numbers and all the pitch data you can handle!
FanDuel Chalk Stack Of The Day
Toronto Blue Jays vs. Chase Anderson (RH)
Colorado finally puts someone on the mound that isn’t inducing ground balls at a very high rate, which means Vlad can wake up today. I’m in for the Jays again today. Anderson pitches to the barrel of the bat with pretty neutral fly ball/ground ball rates. My favorites in order are Davis Schneider, Brandon Belt, Vlad Guerrero, and Ernie Clement for value.
DraftKings Chalk Stack Of The Day
Boston Red Sox vs. Zack Greinke (RH)
Unfortunately the Red Sox look good here as well on both sites, but will be the chalk on DraftKings without the Coors game. 1-9 firmly in play and my favorites in order are Rafael Devers, Adam Duvall, Triston Casas, and Masataka Yoshida.
Top Stacks Of The Day
Detroit Tigers vs. Michael Kopech (RH)
The Tigers are slowly creeping into the top 10 in the split over the last 30 days. They’re much better than they have been in the past and they’re cheap enough to help us build how we want. Kerry Carpenter, Spencer Torkelson, Akil Baddoo, and Parker Meadows are my favorites, but I’m fine with sprinkling in some of the cheaper value here as well, if necessary.
