Slate Overview:
Should be one of the more interesting slates of this bowl season with plenty of opt-outs, making for a lot of uncertainty for teams on both sides of the ball. Georgia will be one of the more safe offenses to use and the Toledo and Wyoming game has the best defenses to stack against. Ole Miss and Penn State could make for an interesting game stack with a lot of pieces in that game that make for good tournament plays.
- Carson Beck – Decided to return next season and looks to have all his pass catchers (Brock Bowers still in question) in this one against a more-than-depleted FSU team.
- Payton Thorne – Been an up and down season, but showed some life against ‘Bama in their last game. Facing a bad Maryland defense.
- Tucker Gleason – Cheap starting QB who steps into the starting spot after being a backup most of the season. Has rushing upside. Andrew Peasley makes for a good game stack, as both defenses give up big plays and it’s easy to make a game stack fit.
- Billy Edwards – Tommy’s boy who will get plenty of goal line work. Not the best game environment, as both teams will look to run the ball and eat clock. (Still not sure on who starts yet)
- Harrison Waylee – Best matchup on the slate today and very capable of a big game. Can also look on the other side with Jacquez Stuart, who gets the start Saturday and has top-end speed.
- Jarquez Hunter – One of the best plays for the price. Hunter is the lead back going against a Maryland rush defense who is in the bottom half. Talented back.
- Kendall Milton – Has come on strong for Georgia the last half of the season. Has a knack for finding the endzone and should have no issue scoring in this one. Will have a +360 bet on him to score two TDs.
- Penn State backs – Flip a coin on these two, but one should have a big game. Kayton Allen has been the more consistent one this season, so the ownership should reflect that, but Nick Singleton is the more explosive and a threat to score anytime he touches it. Great matchup for the both of them.
- Tre Harris – Penn State has one of the better defenses in the country, but Lane and Ole Miss can score on anyone. Dart along with Harris will make for a good low owned stack that provides good upside.
- Ladd McConkey – Could tell he was still banged up last time out against ‘Bama, but with time to heal and the possibility of Bowers out, McConkey could be in line for more work. Dillon Bell is one of the better values, as he has looked great and lines up all over the field.
- Jerjuan Newton – Best matchup today, but always some risk with a new QB. Good price for the volume he gets.
- Dayton Wade – Not sure why DK made him min price, but he has worked the slot for this Ole Miss team all season and has produced some big games. Wade and Bell are two great values today.
- Tai Felton – Not sure who starts at QB for Maryland yet, but Auburn has struggled stopping the pass and is down some guys on defense. More of a tournament play, along with Jeshaun Jones.
Core 4:
- Carson Beck, Jarquez Hunter, Harrison Waylee, Dillon Bell/Dayton Wade
