Dmar’s Daily Fantasy College Football Intro:
What’s up, 4Deep?! We’ve got our first batch of bowl games! Enjoy another great day of football and let’s take something down! Like always, I will be in Discord (@Dmar) to help assist you with your teams before lock. Good luck, everyone!
UPDATES:
Quarterbacks:
- Diego Pavia – Should be able to do some damage with his legs. Does not throw the ball much, but can hit on some big plays.
- Zion Webb – Another QB who likes to use his legs. Nice team total and Webb should be involved with most of it. Like Pavia, you don’t have to pair him with a WR, but getting the right one could be key to a GPP takedown.
- Chandler Fields – One of the best game environments of the day and in what should be a trailing game script, he could put up a nice score off of volume.
- Fernando Mendoza – The young QB has had an up and down season and has battled some injuries, but has had time to heal up and faces a Texas Tech defense who got throttled by Texas last time out. Easy to pair up with his targets and gives us the best value at QB. Running it back with Behren Morton could make for a fun, late night stack.
Running Backs:
- Ashton Jeanty – Absolute beast who is a threat to go for the double bonus with 100 on the ground and air. Ownership shouldn’t be high with the matchup, but Jeanty is matchup-proof. Just have to hope George Holani doesn’t vulture his TDs.
- Jayden Ott – Can be played with Mendoza and Ott can do a little bit of it all. Draws a great matchup and should be the higher owned of him and Jeanty.
- Tahj Brooks – Another big piece in this Cal and Tech game. Brooks is a great play against a bad rush defense.
- TJ Harden – With Steele looking like he won’t play, Harden should get a larger workload and is a great bet to score and draws a great matchup.
- Malik Sherrod – Not the best matchup, but is the type of back who just finds a way to get it done each week. Good price and shouldn’t get a lot of ownership.
- Kanye Roberts – With Noel no longer on the team, Roberts, who had already started to carve out a role late in the season, now looks to lead the backfield and makes for a great play at this price.
Wide Receivers:
- Jeremiah Hunter – Good pairing with Mendoza, who has dominated the targets at the end of the season.
- Logan Loya – Has become the WR1 on this Bruins team and l think he can have a big showing to end the season. Favorite WR play on the board.
- Trond Grizzell – Yet another piece of this Cal offense, but the slot WR has a chance to have a good game in this one. Monroe Young will get the start due to transfers and is a good value.
- Xavier White – This Tech WR room is thin, so along with White, Drea McCray and Coy Eakin look to see the most involvement and all are priced very nicely.
- Mac Dalena – Not the biggest upside type play, but has had some decent games this season and would be a nice pivot off some of the Tech and Cal chalk. Jalen Moss is priced up for what we have seen out of him to end the season, but has had some big games this season, so the upside is there.
- Mason Tharp – The big 6’9″ TE is obviously a very big mismatch, and on a slate where there isn’t any elite talent, you could get away with a play like this if he is able to find the endzone at this price.
