Scarface’s 2023 NFL Week 6 Daily Fantasy Plays

Scarface's DraftKings NFL Daily Fantasy Plays

Scarface’s 2023 NFL Week 6 Intro:

Welcome, 4Deeps, to my weekly NFL GPP article. Time to pick up right where we left off last year, coming off my best NFL season and helping you guys win also. I want to welcome the new subs and let you know that it won’t be pretty every week, but the weeks that are, we will go straight to the top.

In this article, I will list my favorite plays at each position with a mini breakdown, followed by some game stack ideas we can use in GPPs, and my Core 4 building blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel. In keeping with the Scarface theme, I will conclude with my “Say Hello to My Little Friend” (Slate Edge Play), “Every Dog Has His Day” (Favorite Value Play), and “Say Goodnight to the Bad Guy” (Chalk Fade).

Also don’t forget to check out the Mayhem Minute section on Game Day for a more narrowed breakdown of my favorite plays at each position.

Thoughts on the Slate:

Where we’ve prioritized Wide Receivers on other slates, this is a slate I’m going to be focusing more on RBs. There is a buffet of options at the position, including a lot of value. I think the slate will come down to picking the right ones and I will most likely be using three in most of my lineups.

UPDATES: PLEASE CHECK BACK SUNDAY MORNING FOR UPDATES.

SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE: With Sauce Gardner being ruled out, Im throwing some Philly back into my player pool. I think AJ Brown and Devontae Smith are in play. I don’t mind Jalen Hurts but I don’t like spending up to him over Fields who I like more, but he is in play as well. I think this game has some shootout potential which makes me like my Garret Wilson Slate Edge play even more

I will be available in Discord (@Scarface521) Sunday Mornings for any questions you have about your lineups. 💪🏻

QB:

  • Justin Fields – His price has gone up, but so has his level of play. Injuries to his RBs should help his rushing upside as well.
  • Trevor Lawrence – We haven’t had that monster game from him yet, but this is the week we see it.
  • Joe Burrow – Looks to be healthy and still underpriced.
  • Matthew Stafford – With Kupp back and weapons all around him, Stafford will always be in play at this price.
  • Gardner Minshew – Revenge anyone? I think this game is high scoring and you know he’ll be slinging it. The best option if paying down.

RB:

  • David Montgomery – This is a huge mismatch for the Tampa D Line. He will have room to run free. Add the fact that Gibbs is out, and it’s all you can eat.
  • Bijan Robinson – Not sure if I get to him on DK, but I love his price on FD.
  • Kyren Williams – He was phased out of last week’s game, but not this week. He has the highest snap share in the NFL and this is the matchup for him.
  • Raheem Mostert – I don’t see how you don’t just lock him in on DK. A nice contrarian play on FD at his price.
  • Joe Mixon – Mixon at home, you know I love it. We debated his ownership on the Round Table last night. Whatever it is, I think he has a good game here.
  • Alexander Mattison – Going completely overlooked on this slate. The Vikings are on the road outdoors, without JJ, against a horrible Bears D, and possibly, bad weather. Run! Run! Run!
  • Chuba Hubbard / D’Onta Foreman / Keaontay Ingram – These are the top value RBs on the slate, and in that same order in ownership as well. On FD, you can make a case for fading all three if you wanted to, but on DK, I think you will need one of these guys as value in most of your lineups.

WR:

  • Tyreek Hill – Imagine with all the value on the slate that the biggest slate-breaker of them all is projecting at less than 20% ownership.
  • Ja’Marr Chase – I’m hoping Higgins is ruled in and his ownership comes down a little, but I’m playing him no matter what.
  • Calvin Ridley / Christian Kirk – Ridley will come in lower owned than Kirk due to pricing, but both are in great spots here and can both be used in Lawrence stacks.
  • Jaylen Waddle – Too cheap on FD.
  • Garrett Wilson – One of my favorite tournament plays. The way to attack Philly is through the air. They are missing Slay and Maddox and it should lead to increased targets for Wilson. Eight catches for 100 plus yards and a TD is what I’m thinking for him.
  • Michael Pittman – When they zig, you zag. With ownership going to Downs, it’s actually Pittman who connects better with Minshew.
  • Chris Godwin – More of a FD play due to pricing. Slot receivers are the ones we like to target against the Lions.
  • Robert Woods – Tank Dell is out and Lattimore will be locked up on Nico. Woods actually leads the Texans in targets and should see more here.

TE:

  • TJ Hockenson – He’s the receiver that benefits the most with JJ out.
  • Evan Engram – I like him with or without Lawrence.
  • Dalton Schultz – He will also see targets for the same reason as I mentioned with Woods.
  • Logan Thomas – TEs are the way to attack the Falcons.

DEF:

Defense is always a crapshoot. My strategy most weeks is to build out my lineups first and see which defenses I land on. These are some that I will be using:

  • 49ers
  • Dolphins
  • Falcons
  • Browns

Game Stack Ideas For GPPs:

  • Jaguars vs. Colts – Lawrence double stacked with a combo of Ridley / Kirk or Engram and running it back with Pittman
  • Dolphins – Tua with either Tyreek or Waddle and Mostert
  • Colts at Jaguars – Minshew with Pittman and running it back with Ridley or Kirk and Engram

Core 4 on FanDuel:

  • Mixon/Monty/Kirk/Godwin

Core 4 on DraftKings:

  • Chuba/Mostert/Kirk/Chase

Say Hello To My Little Friend: Garrett Wilson

Every Dog Has His Day: Robert Woods

Say Goodnight To The Bad Guy: Travis Ettienne
