UPDATES: Emeka Egbuka is out, bump to Marvin Harrison JR and Xavier Johnson is in line to start for Egbuka.—– No Jobnny Wilson for FSU so bump to Keon Coleman and Jaheim Bell—-Ok State will have some ownership today with RB Ollie Gordon, Jaden Bray and Rashod Owens all being in good spots and WR bringing us some value. —- Henderson is out so Chip and Hayden become great plays
Quarterbacks:
- Michael Penix Jr – Week 7 is blessing us with one of the premiere fantasy matchups of the season. We have two talented teams squaring off, and even more importantly, we have two of the best offenses in the country. Both QBs have the opportunity to leapfrog to the top of the Heisman race with a strong performance in this one. Penix has been lights out throwing the ball and gets his All-America caliber WR back this week in Jalen McMillan. Penix and Nix are the clear top two options on this slate and I won’t have a team without at least one of them. Don’t get cute on this one and just play one, if not both, on your lineups and figure the rest out. Slight lean to Nix due to being cheaper and can provide some rushing upside.
- Bo Nix – See above
- Carson Beck – This Georgia team is becoming very similar to what we saw last season in that we are getting super efficient QB play on a team that is just better than everyone they play. As a result, we are getting great fantasy performances. It’s not a sexy play, but Stetson Bennett teams took down tourneys last season and that’s exactly what Beck could do this year. Beck with Bowers will be low owned due to the prices in the Oregon and Washington game, but provide a route that can easily hit.
- Garrett Shrader – I was fortunate to avoid the Shrader chalk last week in his stinker, only to have Cam Ward look just as bad. But, like I said last week with Shrader, he is a grinder and this is another game that isn’t pretty on paper, but he can find a way to get there with his legs.
- Luke Altmyer – I think Altmyer will come in as your chalky, lower priced QB this week and I’m not sure yet if it’s good or bad chalk. Maryland has given up points to every QB they have faced this season, so that tells us Altmyer should give us a safe floor at this price. I just worry about the upside and ownership that could come with him putting up a bad score. In bigger field GPPs, I think I will stay away.

Running Backs:
- Braelon Allen/ Blake Corum – I’m bunching these two together as I view them similarly in how I’m approaching this slate. Blake’s TD prop has gotten ridiculous as it’s reached -650, so we know a score is coming. It’s just how much he can get before this game gets completely out of hand, and at this price, it’s going to take him breaking multiple ones early on to make it work. With Allen, I think he is a little more interesting as I think this game stays close, but the matchup is tough and this should just be an ugly game. Allen is fully capable of providing Wisconsin all of its offense, but at the price, it’s hard to imagine him paying it off.
- Bucky Irving – Let us down last time he was on the slate against Colorado, but this time around he should have more of a workload, as RB2 Whittington is done for the season. It will be interesting to see how Oregon approaches their RB room as they have been operating a three-man backfield with Jordan James being the third. Do they just commit to those two or do they keep it the same and add in a new name? I think especially in this game they lean on both Irving and James, which make both a solid play on this slate.
- Treveyon Henderson – No clue what made him be inactive last week, but that has been a common occurrence with Mr. Henderson during his career with the Buckeyes. But as long as he’s active this week, he could be in a slate-breaking spot as Purdue has been crushed by just decent RBs this season. Ohio St. has to have Henderson at his best for them to have a shot to win it all this season and this is a great game to get him back right.
- Dillon Johnson – The Mississippi St. transfer had a breakout game last week and comes in at a nice price in the best game of the day. I feel it’s a little trappy, as I think the passing game takes the driver seat in this one, but I will have a sprinkle of him in my lineups and can’t fault you for grabbing a piece of this game at that price.
- Devin Neal – We finally got the Neal breakout game last week, and while it did take him breaking a 70-yarder, he continues to look great and is in another good spot this week. I think his performance last week will bring some more ownership to him this week, but it was nothing that changed to allow him that big game, so I look at it as more of an outlier than what is to be expected. Still a solid play, though.
- Lequint Allen – Allen showed his floor last week in what was a complete stinker for this offense. 13 for a floor performance is not terrible, so unless this is what the offense is starting to become, you should expect some sort of bounce back this week.
- Eli Sanders – I have been burned by ISU RBs in the past, so I will tread carefully with this one. Sanders was the man last week with 16 carries and if he gets that type of work again this week, he will be a nice salary relief option.
- Kaden Feagin – Injuries may force Feagin into becoming a thing for this Illinois offense. There is a lot of hype for Feagin, so this could end up being a buy low spot for the talented freshman. This offense is one that never makes you feel the best when you roster them, but the price is nice and opportunity should be there.

Wide Receivers:
- Marvin Harrison Jr – So we got the big game from Harrison Jr last week, and he is in a similar spot again this week against an undermatched opponent, plus we get him at his cheapest price point of the season. If Emeka Egbuka is out again, he becomes an excellent play in what should present him with plenty of targets.
- Oregon/Washington game – Since this game is filled with good plays, I just wanted to rank them in order of how I will be playing them. All make for good plays, but the top guys provide the safest floor and biggest upside.
- Troy Franklin
- Rome Odunze
- Jalen McMillan
- Ja’lynn Polk
- Tez Johnson
- Germie Bernard would move up towards the top if McMillan sits this one out, but all indications point to McMillian playing.
- Gary Bryant Jr
- Squirrel White – The loss of Bru McCoy will open up some more looks for the rest of the WR room and White gives you the best balance of big play and consistency. Ramel Keyton is once again a boom or bust play and Donte Thornton looks to step into the Bru role. He had lofty expectations coming into this offense, but has yet to find his groove. I would rather take the chance on Thornton at his price rather than Keyton, as both have the big play ability.
- Ainias Smith – Continues to be Max Johnson’s favorite target and this game has sneaky shootout potential. Great price for a guy who is being targeted this much and a TD through the air has yet to happen and he has a good shot to find the box this Saturday.
- Erick All – Is a target monster on a shitty offense. I do think this game plays ugly, but Iowa should have to throw the ball around some to keep pace with Wisconsin, so this is a game where All can put up another steady performance.
- Ty Washington – Speaking of TEs, Washington stepped into the starting role last week for the injured Hasz and looked incredible. KJ has consistently peppered his TE this season and ‘Bama has struggled to stop them. Washington is built like a WR and is one of my favorite values on the board this week.
