What’s up, 4Deep?! Baseball is here and I’m ready to put us in the driver’s seat to hopefully take down some tournaments this year! First and foremost, baseball is the only sport that I consistently play multiple lineups. I HIGHLY recommend at least playing two lineups. Fading chalk in baseball is usually the key to taking down tournaments, but is not always the correct move. What I will be providing below is an in-depth breakdown of my top stacks of the night and I will always start with what I believe will be the chalk, followed with my favorite pitchers as well. Generally speaking, chalk is usually chalk because they are in a good spot and I will be telling you whether or not I agree with it. What I want though, is for you to understand what is chalk and then determine whether or not you want to play them! Now, let’s get to the fun part with a lot of numbers and all the pitch data you can handle!
Chalk Stack Of The Day
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Trevor Williams (RH)
It’s tough to imagine anyone is a bad play against Williams. I think there’s a lot of different ways to go tonight, so it’s not a must, but there’s not really any negatives either. My favorites in order are Freddie Freeman, Max Muncy, JD Martinez, and Jason Heyward.
Top Stacks Of The Day
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Miami Bullpen
Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, Trea Turner, and Bryson Stott.
Atlanta Braves vs. Luis Ortiz (RH)
Austin Riley, Michael Harris, Eddie Rosario, and Ronald Acuna.
Top Spend Up Pitcher Of The Day
Corbin Burnes (RH) vs. New York Yankees
Top pitcher, top matchup of the day, and top priority.
Top Mid Tier Pitcher Of The Day
Cole Ragans (LH) vs. Toronto Blue Jays
This is not a good matchup on the surface and the Jays don’t strike out much in the split, but they’re going to roll out a ton of RHH and that’s where Ragans dominates. I’m banking on pure skill because there aren’t really any elite spots.
Top Value Pitcher Of The Day
Allan Winans (RH) vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
I’m fine taking a shot on both sites here, but I would focus on the higher end for single entry unless you have multiple lineups.
